The most important thing is to not get emotional. Second is to never invest more than you can afford, if you stick to these two rules you won't feel bad about it

Am I too late into this trading stuff? I'm still learning about it thats I why can't say anthing regarding the losses xD
I'll post again when it happens!
No, your never too late, you can start today or tomorrow because the market is always here to stay.
Trading is a good way to make money but make sure you understand what you are doing, as a newbie you need to study the basics first and understand the entire market so you will be able to make a decision based on its movement. This forum will help you because you can read a lot useful ideas shared here and also the information about the crpto currency. You can start anytime with a small amount of money, it's better to start that way.
And beside trading are open to all who are willing to trade and the first thing that we must gonna do is to have the willingness to learn to in trading, yes trading is unpredictable and risky but if you know how to handle your emotions also if you are experiencing the loss that it is not far to about to happen here in trading of course you need to deal on it take a deep breath and stay calm.

Hardship would really be experienced specially on our first time which is really a normal thing, right? On our newbie minds and emotions into this particular field would really be different which we would normally react when we lose money and as a beginner we would really normally panic or even worst would really make rage and would make bad decision specially when we cant handle ourselves on those situations. Dealing loss should really be on calm way and think and realize why we do loss and for sure in next time we are already aware on it and somehow avoid on next time trades.

The best way in order to recover your loss is to remain determined and keep on working hard. Facing the situation boldly can help you in getting what all you lost back in your pocket. Learn from your past mistakes and do not repeat those mistakes in the future so that you may not suffer any kind of loss. Had work can really help you in getting your money.

You sleep, you exercise and you plan on getting back 25% of what you lost with a reasonable time then it's bearable.

If you get loss on trading, you wont really care about it because there is a proverb "If You don't lose something, you won't win something" ,it means no pain and no gain. So, I always keep patience on losing.

A big part of trading is accepting the loss and getting out when the situation is going real south for you.
I remember getting in many trades (stocks) and if I didn't got out at a certain level of loss I could have lost everything. It happened more than 5 times. So take the loss as a man and cut it as soon as it reaches your personal loss level.
It might come back but it also might never recover ( in case of solution of new stocks / coins ) in the market. Immagine having 10 euro one coin and then next week that coin is 1 euro. How many years (if) is required to get it back at 10? Not worth it

So in trading how do you deal with loss? For example you've invested in an alt and now it has fallen quite hard and you're on the brink of losing all your bitcoin you invested in it.
How do you actually deal with it? Do you wait and keep on waiting in hope that it will bounce back up and return your investment or you sell and get whatever left of your investment?

Before, I would just sell it because my mistake I did not set a stop loss so sometimes it will reach to 50% loss and I don't have any bitcoin anymore to buy more to average down so I will time it for about a week if the price gets better and if it is not then I would just sell it. I just have to accept that my prediction to the movement of the coin is wrong so that I can move on. I am usually a short term trader and if possible I want to sell my coin within the day but sometimes my target profit will not be reach so I would just extend to the following day and so on and then I also set a stop loss. There are coins that I hold for long term so I don't mind if that coins is in a loss because I believe those coins has viable project so they will eventually go up.

If I will continue to wait until the exchange rate reaches the highest rating because we play the trading goal to get the profit as big as possible instead of the added loss. The most important need patience in achieving success later.

Patience would really give a big role on trading which it is the most common thing should really be on ourselves but not all the times because there are instances that we should really need to cut loss.Thats why i dont see anytime that panic selling is a bad stuff knowing there are dumping of coins which can be considered to go into its own death.

This is actually true since i have done this stuff already when i tend to panic and sell the coins i do have to prevent more loss and later on i found out that i did make the right thing since i have seen the coin have been dumped hard reaching out 1 sat. Grin Dealing with a loss will really be hard specially when you are a newbie.Stressing yourself even more which would lead up for you to make more mistakes since you would make wrong decisions further on.

I'm keeping myself calm all the time because if with the given situation, I don't have choice but to keep on waiting for the price pump.

I don't want to deal with it seriously but when the amount involved is too high, I will find a remedy which is by keep on waiting.

Very well said. It's business. It is a natural thing that you dont earn always. Keep calm and think of a new strategy. Build a back up or plan B. If you lost it doesnt mean that you will lose all the way. The best revenge is coming up with an idea from your learnings from your mistake.

I remember the time I have .2 BTC and bought XMR (can't recall the price of it but its really cheap back then). The reason I bought XMR because of its potential at that time which my instincts told me to do so. However, upon 1 week of monitoring the price, I noticed that it goes downward per day so what I did is sold my remaining XMR's and move on. The next 2 days or so hit me really hard as the price was increasing. I lost around 0.08 at that time but then again, I just focus and believe (risk) on XMR and to this day I'm happy that I've learned my lesson back then at the same time XMR was one of the succesful Altcoins up to this date.

There are always rules you have to set for yourself when trading, and then follow them.I personally, when trading do few things.
First of all,and everyone always mentions it,invest what you can afford to lose,so you can trade cool headed and not be in temptation of panic selling.
Second of all, invest in the project you actually believe in.That way,if you're confident enough, when the price drops you'll buy even more, expecting it to boom soon.
The third thing you can do which is smart is to make portfolios of at least 5 good cryptos you'll invest in.That way even if four of these are falling,if one is very successful you'll at least cover the losses.
Your all pieces of advice are worth following. I am really grateful that you shared your precious strategies. We all know that riski the part of business and loss is again inevitable. Without losses you cannot make big profits.

But there are many remarkable methods of minimizing the risk factor and loss. The best you can adopt for avoiding loss in crypto market is to diversify your portfolio.

the idea is not to put all your eggs in one basket. Invest in Bitcoin, watch for good ICOs (like ankorus) and there are other cryptos to invest.

I always keep calm when prices fall because when we participate in this market we have to take risks and accept losses if possible. I think in all cases we should shut down the computer and limit the trade during the downtrend

I've never been in this situation, it is very rare, because no one puts all of Bitcoin in one type of altcoin, even if you're sure to be profitable there is still a bit of risk happening. But if this is the case, I think that maybe I will not sell right away because then the price is very low, I will wait for some time, find out the related news to see if it grows up. If so, I would choose the right time to sell it. But do not worry too much about losses because trade is so, you need to stumble, then you can succeed Cheesy

If I was you, after few months falling down, I will sell immediately to cut loss. Find other potential coins to invest.  Don't waste your time. Cool

I invested in a couple of ICO's recently and one of them is right now 50% below initial coin offering price, due to impatience of investors. We all want our crypto price to rise, and sometimes this is a long process and takes a long time. I don't think about selling my ICO just because it brings loss right now. As long as the team is doing their job, keep each promise, delivers updates on time so you can see progress is being made there is nothing to worry about when it comes to price - it's just the beginning. I must admit choosing right ICO is very hard and require skills to follow, experience, patience and a lot of research, and deep understanding what you are doing.
