Will bitcoin be used to support terrorists?

There's a big chance that bitcoin is being used to support terrorists or much probably they are already using it. Today's terrorists are well equipped with intelligence and information and skilled personnel. It is easy for them to transact beyond the reach of the Government itself. Also, Most the financers are not willing to risk their anonymous status to show their support. That's why they are looking for new way of hid there transactions.

Probably, we cannot decide on what they would be spending  bitcoins. I think that it happens now in another countries as well.  We hopes that they would not join any terrorist and they will make bitcoins to be their fund, the reputation of bitcoins maybe in the going to low if it will happen. Just choose the right path guys.

Bitcoin was an open source to anyone who will get interest into bitcoin. Now if one or some of the terorist has knowledge in bitcoin and know how to use it, bitcoin doesn't know if we use it for good or bad purposes. Meaning, my answer is yes!

Physical cash is the most anonymous way to transfer payments and groups such as ISIS have been using it for their operations ever since its formation. Bitcoin is very hard to trace (but not impossible to do so), but when you convert the Bitcoins to fiat cash, this anonymity is lost. That may be one of the reasons why the terror groups have shown little interest in BTC till now.

Yes, it is true that bitcoin is anonymous and could be used in terrorist activity. There is no of moniter on bitcoin as it is been anonymous. I don't think terrorists are using bitcoins for illegal activities. Actually people being in position as minister and president in the government only saving their corrupted money in the international banks and as bitcoin as well.

You know how much ammunition they would need to buy just for some small skirmish?

It's far easier to just use cash in person rather than spend money and time on fake papers and to trust guys on deepweb which might be undercover cops.And yes, there were a lot of seller accounts created by the FBI on all major darknet markets that went down.

This is one of the reasons why I hate the media, they turn a new currency that is available to everyone to use, and they just paint it in such a bad way, people who are clueless about bitcoin will just hate it. Why are there never any news about "terrorist bought weapons with cash" because it isn't interesting for the public, the only reason why bitcoin was mention here, was to catch people's attention and we all know how powerful the media is. Why does the media address bitcoin as the issue, but not terrorism here. This is really starting to piss me off.

i am agree with you and in my mind, bitcoin is independent, not related with the good or the bad thing. only user will know what he want to do with his bitcoin. bitcoin itself is only a tool and everybody can used it by free even for just owning in their wallet. i think bitcoin and fiat is the same, is only user that could determine what is the function for him self.
