Will bitcoin be used to support terrorists?

Of course Bitcoin can be used for all sorts of criminal activities. Being decentralized makes it even more attractive for people planning criminal activities. But that's no reason to blame on Bitcoin. If criminals or terrorists use US dollars, no one blames the dollar for that. You don't ask: will the euro or the dollar be used to support terrorists.

Bitcoin are used as a stored value and peer to peer payment. Anyone can use Bitcoin, not to say lawyers or terrorists.

Bieng terrorist in country is a bad influence to the civilians it may cause a protest to the goverment. Even if the thing is good bad person will used it in bad. There are many positive characteristic of bitcoin but if the user use it in bad, we cannot blame bitcoin. A good example is bank. Bank is good but becomes bad when used by criminals and corrupt politician. If's that the case, will the government stop the bank? Same in bitcoin if it used in bad the person should be punished not the bitcoin itself because it is made to help.

Though  most of us already knew the answer to this question let me just share my thoughts on this...

Actually, There's no stopping if evil doers use bitcoin to support terrorists, same as how we are using bitcoin for our personal gains, since bitcoin is decentralized, which is open to anyone and very difficult to be traced which would be convenient for them to make transactions, so it is not impossible. One good thing about that is if more of them use bitcoin it would contribute to the increase of its value. However if there's a widespread news that bitcoin were widely used for illegal transactions, of course, it would negatively affect not only bitcoin but all of us, and I am not sure as to what would be the actions that the government would take in order to stop them (terrorists) from using bitcoin that might greatly affect as all.

Bitcoin can be  used by anyone and for anything. I'm afraid that's the sad part. It's really unpredictable what Bitcoin can be used for. Let karma deal with the rest.

Yeah, criptocurrency will be widely used for criminals. However, US dollar is also widely used for this pupropse. So I don't see any problem from this side - any currency could be used for criminals

As Bill Gate has said, Bitcoin is the precursor to the work of selling drugs and raising criminals. Correctly, criminals are essentially providing each other with Bitcoin and altcoin, because crypto market accounts are anonymous, and they can be freely exchanged without any government control. I think bitcoin might be the best way to buy by something in black market because its untraceable and very safe to transact how much more in terrorist where always do illegal jobs all of there lives... Your idea about the willingness of these world leaders to kill btc to make sure they can fight terrorists really sucks!

If they really wanted to fight these terrorism, they will probably start this in targeting those financiers which supports these terrorists.
With regards to your idea if bitcoin can use in negative way, it is surely possible and is happening even before in darkweb. Actually, not only Bitcoin can use in negative way but every currency also. It really dependent on the person who controls it.

and stop arguing about negative news will result to price drop, it really sucks!

 Sadly ya I do agree people could use Bitcoins for shady purposes, but that's very small amount of people not all do. These are kind of people get the Bitcoin community  the bad name.The news that they get is usually from some dude who didn't even research what Bitcoin was about and just decided to banter on the subject in a negative matter.

Terrorist are also closely watching new technologies that could help them in their activities and Bitcoin was ideal because of the anonimity and it was hard to determine the source of funding. Supporting terrorists using bitcoin, for me its conceivable since after searching internet reading some news about some people using bitcoin to purchase weapons similar to what some terrorist groups are using then it’s highly possible that there are people using bitcoin to support and fund terrorists. That maybe one of the reasons why bitcoin has not been regulated yet and legalized until the present because of course I'm sure that came across every governments mind, what if that will happen. And it is possible to happen because of its anonymity, thus making illegal transactions untraceable.
