On March 8th, Cheollima Civil Defense(CCD) released a video on its website claiming:” Han Sol, the son of Kim Jong Nam, and two other family members were met quickly and relocated to safety. “ And they receive bitcoin for financial support. http://news.8btc.com/bitcoin-plays-a-role-in-humanitarian-assistance This is something nice to do. But what if bitcoin be used to support some bad organizations, even terrorists? Is this already happening? What i am worrying is if bitcoin be widely used for bad things, negative news would be all over and bitcoin price will drop. It will lead to tougher regulation. Do u think world leaders are willing to kill btc to make sure they can fight terrirists? Bitcoin is a new addition to the long list of things being used in illegal or criminal activities (supporting terrorists is definitely one of them). Gold, fiat, gems, are some of those first on the list. Anything can and will be used in these unlawful activities for personal gains of the hoodlums behind the scene. A sad and painful truth that each of us have to deal with. |

Since identities were concealed unlike transactions made from the bank where your identities were recorded. |

I don't think bitcoin would be the problem here, even a weapon just by exisiting is not a crime but those who should wield it should take responsiblity. It certainly is become handy using btc in these terrorist and underground based transactions but I think the government should focus on the people responsible itself because sooner or later they will know that terrorist will always find a way to use valuable resources for their schemes. |

Bitcoin provides many benefits as compared to that of traditional payment system so if it is useful in transferring the value from point to another then everyone would use it irrespective of moral beliefs. We can not blame Bitcoin for any misuse of the same because at the end, it's mere a technology and it has nothing to do with the users.

My take on this is, regardless if it is factual or not, it doesn't make Bitcoin bad. Bitcoin can be used by everyone, it means anyone. So if it is being used to do good or bad things, these people are the ones responsible for it, if it was used for bad things like illegal or criminality, it doesn't erase the fact that it does many good things for people as well and changed a lot of lives for the better.

There is a big opportunity for terrorists to use bitcoin in supporting their activitiy. In anticipating this, the government must issue law and regulation to minimize this possibilty. The government must work together and coordinate each other with security authorities including Police and military Institutions to
overcome this case. Because of decentralized system, Bitcoin can not be controlled fully by government authority. It might be wise to ask society get involved in monitoring or controlling possible activities relating to terrorist. Bitcoin transaction can be done for terrorist funding, money laundry, buy drugs, etc. So in this case, all parties like government, people , security authority must work together and coordinate each other to handle this problem.

Everyone can use bitcoin in different ways even it in good time or bad time. Bitcoin is not variant to fiat or any form of money, as long as it have a value it will use in many ways
It is possible that bitcoin will be used to support terrorist since everyone can use cryptocurrency and the transaction is very fast, it can greatly help terrorist for illegal transactions without being caught but still, they should not ban cryptocurrency because it helps people a lot. |

To be honest it is not only a currency but it is the future maker and it can be use by everyone bitcoin is the freedom you can use it as you want to use, no one is going to make you bound while you are suing bitcoin, now bitcoin is being use globally anyone can use it for any purpose like other kind of money is being use,. Bitcoin does not have any kind of connection with terrorism so if people are using it for such illegal activities it is their own choice I am using bitcoin to secure my further it is my own choice so feel free mate. |

Oh no i heard this story once again. sounds to me like nonsense because I can't believe that terrorists have banks and atm machines in Raqqa or some other cities. So if somebody sends them coins in what way they are going to convert it for cash. no logic. anyway those guys are not very smart and I can't imagine them using wallets and exchanges somewhere in the dessert while bullets are flying by.
