While I agree that using yobit gives you cancer and herpes, I think the dev said that they want to wait until 50.000 block and STaTiC node activated before trying to list XBY on better exchange.

The XBY value is hovering between 200 to 250 Sat. I think we should make it to a bigger exchange as it will surely boost the value for this coins. I am really seeing XBY the NEXT BIG THING in the crypto-world.

In time, it will go to bittrex and Polo, no need to rush. We first need to go over the 50K block (almost there). This is when the Static nodes kick in.

No, there might be in the future. There is a community fund. We did have a contest 2 days ago about XBY's slogan worth around 13000 XBY.

Are you talking about the Xtrabyte name or about the slogan contest 2 days ago? Everyone was free to participate. These 5 were the final slogans chosen for voting.

Why is everything a pump? Pump means something is pushed up artificially.


How about the market decides the price and if a good coin rises it's cause there is demand for it...and so the price has to rise. Its called price discovery and the free market....Pumps are what's scammers do.

The coin is still new and options are limited in the beginning, with regards to exchanges. As the coin progresses, they are looking to add additional exchanges. They are taking measured steps in right direction, this is to everyone's benefit.

With 1 exception and that is that decisions will be made within our Community Board, rather than just between Borzalom and myself.

Perhaps in the future the community will feel more inspired to get involved when we ask for your input.

All XBY transferred will be returned to the participants, with the exception of the name change (if we do it) and that will come to a final decision on the Board. If one of you who entered the name results is the winner, you will still get half the prize as planned. But all votes will be returned by me, at my expense.

The technology is important behind this coin, the nodes, do we need anon, hows the data storage work... the community needs better solution (zcash has its own forum for example)

If you ever get to know me, you will see that quitting is not in my DNA.

I was just letting everyone know that my time is better spent on things that will help us continue on our path to success.

From now on (for the time being at least) we will make all the decisions within our CORE and Community Board. I am finished arguing and dealing with FUD inside our own Slack. It is impossible to make everyone happy and I am not game for having my time wasted. If I had nothing else to do, I would have fun with it... but this is not the case so I will just not bother participating in that anymore.

We know how to steer the ship and we have some fantastic people on board to help and many more will be added as they are identified.

Yea, I understand your position here.  Maybe some people just did not want to participate the way it was laid out.  That said, there are still many, many members in the Slack who are very active, and firmly believe in the vision of XtraBytes.  I completely agree.  Effort could be better spent elsewhere. 

With the 50k coming up, and the number of nodes increasing everyday, there is momentum here that has not gone unnoticed.  Even if people haven't yet invested in XtraBytes, or purchased some coins on the exchanges, best believe they have HEARD of XtraBytes.  We're seeing stuff pop up all over the social areas of the cryptosphere.  The long and short of it here, is that we are gaining traction.  We are being talked about.  The idea and tech is solid.  The community is growing exponentially.  Many talented people are pitching in to finalize things before the coin and Proof of Signature blockchain really take off.    The Slack is a whirlwind of budding ideas and discussion.  It's truly a great time to be involved in crypto.
