Do static nodes need to be open and running at 50k?
There will not be any STaTiC nodes running until after the SPECIAL GENESIS BLOCK has been completed. Please see the release from 2 nights ago. Thank you! OK I understand that but after the 50k ticks over should statics be running immediately? |

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

Yobit.... YOBIT... This is most unfortunate for users blocked there.
We cannot do anything about this and we are sorry. New exchanges will be added when it is safe for XtraBYtes to do so. We cannot do this until such time and this is for everyone's protection.

I do not understand  XBY dev can't be responsible for Yobit issues. What's not clear? All the Yobit coins withdrawals not working due to wallets aren't synchronized. You can't even withdraw BTC. |

Just bought 500k+ xby's to setup a static node. I have couple questions.
1. I have been reading that you can't setup a static node after block 50k, is that true?
2. Can I move the static node once it's set up, or is the machine it's set up on the final place?
3. Does the machine need to be online for 24/7 to collect the fees?

Because as the price increases, some people will cancel their nodes, the node will be less!
Then this time should give a chance for people who did not create a node!

It's not permanent from what I read, registration will open again off course. I think locking in static nodes at block 50k to get things rolling and see how things turn out. Might cause issues if people are registering nodes while changes are happening. Nothing is set in stone, got to remember this is a new idea so experimental as development progresses. |
