when is the new wallet out?

The developers have run into issues with getting the burn function operational. I have the source and new windows wallet for the unfinished version that people can use if they want but the theme isn't complete.

Are there plans for an updated Mac wallet?

Yes, the Mac wallet will be released with the Windows wallet when they are finished. The only wallet I cannot provide is a Linux wallet which requires certain dependencies in order to run that the user must install themselves.

It’s time to bring back the HYPER news updates! From now on there will be at least one official update a week posted from the official HYPER team bitcointalk account. Now that the relaunch is a success and we are stable on a new fast blockchain, we have a lot of exciting developments in the pipeline and it’s time to share them with you all.

Under Development:

- Official HYPER Website: We have secured a new domain name for the official HYPER website, and we have started work on the new professional website. It should be ready in 2 to 4 weeks.

- HYPER Strategy Document: We have started writing a new HYPER strategy document to go along with the relaunch of HYPER 2.0. This should also be ready in 2 to 4 weeks.

- Coin Market Cap: When the new website is ready, we will submit the new website and other correct info for coinmarketcap. At the moment the information is incorrect, which actually represents an opportunity for buying cheap HYPER now, before it is listed properly.

- New HYPER Wallet: The new HYPER wallet with a new design is almost complete and there will be more updates soon:

Update on the wallet, it is almost finished. They just have some minor theme changes and the burn function left to do.

-  Burning Remaining Swap Coins: The remaining coins from the swap will be burned by CryptoDatabase as soon as the new wallet is ready (as the new wallet will support a proper burn function).

- Physical HYPER Coins: A member of the community is currently working on launching a range of new physical HYPER coins, will share more when we have more information.

The guy who was working on the updates is no longer employed by the folks I hired to create the new changes. The guy said he would finish the wallet up but it has been a while.

He said he has the theme fully built but he is having an issue with creating the burn function, hopefully he is able to sort it out. If he can't get it working then I will just have them provide the new themed wallet and will find someone else that can code one up for us.

next use the dev fund to get some devs to implement something interesting in the coin that attracts attention
anon features, masternodes or tiered interest payments
the coin itself needs some interesting and useful features

You need a dev funding mechanism all coins are now implementing it so you dont have beg for donations for every upgrade.
Stick the excess hyper into a transparent dev fund wallet dont burn them. Could use this funding for anything... game development, servers whatever.

The inflation is running wild on this coin though and need toning down.

Wow now that is some out of the box thinking I actually like these ideas a lot. Especially masternodes / anon features.

It would also make a very nice nest egg to sponsor some serious HYPER game development when HYPER becomes more valuable.

Crypto has changed since HYPER was launched, people don't mind anymore if a project has large funds to draw on.

I agree about inflation but the community voted and we need to respect that, it'll go down again in a couple of years anyway, in the meantime just enjoy the stakes ha ha.

Hi all Onions enthusiastics.

The first time i heard about ONION is probably a week from now, meaning around August 26.

Before that i never put any significant attentiton to main ONION bitcointalk thread but everytime i clicked on "Show unread posts since last visit" I always saw ONION topic at the top and main thread's pages keep on rising like mad since my last time of visit.

Eventually i decided to click on main btctalk ONION thread and start reading the OP and here i am.

Just received my first airdrop and while being a Legendary member at btctalk forum along with being a part of ONION community is extra rewarding and motivating.

I think main btctalk is getting messy and hard to follow for those seeking real information and updates and I think all those complaints should be solved somewhere else or on a different way.

Where this lead us, dont know, dont want to predict. But being in crypto world for more than 5 years now, i know if you make plans for at least one month ahead and keep reaching them in a time manner, well, success might follow.

Anyway, as title says, i am managing a game server (rented monthly) where Steam players are being paid for their game time playing Team Fortress 2 (currently). As for now, this rented server is financed from other crypto coin along with the predetermined prizes.

What I want to say is, I can easily rearranged and changed the paying structure for rewards. Therefore, the community I originate from keeps the cost for renting a game server but prizes for players needs to be secured from ONION dev team. Please see this thread and read the OP for more information about reward structure the way that are set now and how would you like see ONION to be implemented in this structure.

While I do understand that HYPER is an older coin, it does stand out, which is super interesting and good to see. It actually has some real-world usage, which is becoming rarer and rarer to find nowadays, with the new tokens and coins that are coming out daily. Good job on sticking with the project for as long as you have!
