There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

maybe the M10 will do it in the next 10 minutes!

I mine alt coins with https://simplemining.net...
I see BTC as the super highway and alt coins as taxis and trucks needed to move transactions.

Oh, oh...
Looks like Mrs. Halong saw the power bill...
Quite a sudden drop, again...
At least the number of Workers is up by 300 in the last half hour and the pool Hashrate is slowly climbing...
It may be a new trend...
Just take a deep breath and watch some NFL Football...
Things.
Take.
Time...

Typhoon causing outages?
That seems more likely...
I haven't been paying much attention - just hiding out in the forest...
The weather looks nasty in China... I hope the people can stay safe...
I wish you all a good day...

No, I have no idea why the hashrate is falling. Hopefully it's power issues in disaster affected areas and not big miners abandoning in droves.

Website graphs are updated courtesy of Morktadela (thanks!) They should show correct scale now, though you'll need to empty browser caches and reload the page to get them.

Halong hasn't had any batches available for a long while.

That guy was here once before, end of July. IIRC, I believe -ck had said it was a big pool failover.

Well, welcome hash...here's hoping you bring a few quick blocks with you!
