One member mentioned the chips should be raffled. What do you think?

By the way... i got a call from my import company. The samples reached minutes ago... Funny that he changed the status of the order only some minutes ago too...

Please ALWAYS contact me through bitcointalk pm before sending someone coins.

you got all the sample chips all at once? Does this mean the orders will come in soon?
Raffle sounds better than sitting on chips.
Are you going to raffle only for first batch or are you going to raffle the sample chips with their respective batch numbers?

I spoke to Yifu today and it sounds like a lot of people will be receiving their chips in the coming weeks. He told me that pretty much all of the 3rd batch had shipped.

How did you "talk" to YiFu? He stated all this on his "news" release last week.

I "talked" to him by calling his "cell phone", not rocket science.. The number is actually on the Avalon press release.

Man, you actually managed to get a hold of him and didn't ask about B3 refund ETA? Tongue

Sorry man, was just trying to find out about chips. Try giving him a call yourself if you want to find out about them, he was actually very pleasant.

Man, Avalon has some nerve. They need to open up the order books so we can see where those chips that were meant for many here went to.

Any word on what the evidence is pointing to?

Thx,
IAS

Of course a couple of chips would belong to some bigger buyers in batch 5. But why batch between batch 1 members? The chips from the first 4 batches were spread already.

Its only an idea so far since there should be no developers anymore that need samples.

I asked members from our groupbuy that can read the thread at btcman. I was told that the person that created the gen 1 chips for Yifu searched money to develop a new gen chip. The chips he made pictures of were a proof of his claim that he worked with yifu. But no info on where those chips went to.

Ok, exactly 10 sample chips would belong to buyers that ordered enough chips in batch 5 to have a right on them. That means practically exactly 20 chips remain. I suggest to raffle them now fast. Who wins can ship them to burnin. I pay shipping cost, the assembly cost the winner.

I think the amount of ordered chips shouldnt matter in the raffle. Such buyer, that can afford thousands of chips, isnt interested very much in it anyway. But taking part should be possible for everyone. The amount of orders shouldnt matter too since its arbitrary.

I think everyone with at least one chip can take part. At the moment exactly 302 users. Minus myself so i cant win. Would look too strange if i win... Smiley Since many will remain anonymous i will have to do the draw without public too. For example here: http://www.zufallsgenerator.net/ I will enter there 1 and 301 and take that number as the winner. Ill write a pm to him and if he accepts i send the chips to burnin. The winner orders the miner then there. If he dont want it another buyer will be drawn.

Aceptable? I only wait for some feedback and then in 1-2hours i will do it if no one has doubts. I dont want to let them lay around.

1 x BitBurner XX if you ask me. All or nothing, whoever gets lucky let him be really lucky.
