Sterling should have been sold years ago, or at least sent on a loan which would be a little bad for him since he believes he is a player who should be wanted and bought and played at starting eleven, instead of feel like surplus and sent on a loan.

But anything would have been better than getting him, playing him for a while, get a better alternative on him, then bench him. Dude should be released, sold, loaned or basically any other method where he could be sent away. He deserves to play, he may not be as good as Jack grealish or any other alternatives, but he is definitely not bench material neither, it may look like that on City but there are 10k+ teams in all around the world that would start him, and at least 10-15 teams that could pay his salary and pay his transfer fee and get him and start him as well. So, it is not like he has no option, it is just that City doesn't let him go but still doesn't play him neither.

Sterling is a player I thought Mikel Arteta would rush to sign from City, because the player does not deserve to be benched at the club,he needs to be given more time on the ball to show his quality.I wonder why Pep does not play him, because in my opinion,he is even more better than Grealish.
That was how they let Sane leave too,a player that had so much qualities.Mancity needs to constantly play Sterling to keep his mind at the club, because I believe right now,he might be feeling not wanted by the club which is bad.

I think he lost his touch and its hard to keep your place inside the team. City have lot of attacking players and Guardiola prefers adaptability or maybe perhaps strategy and hence sometimes plays midfield players in attack. With that it is hard to keep up the place with the form he has been putting.

That was how they let Sane leave too,a player that had so much qualities.Mancity needs to constantly play Sterling to keep his mind at the club, because I believe right now,he might be feeling not wanted by the club which is bad.

That was not why let Sane leave. Sane actually wanted to make a switch to german league and Bayern were also interested in him. With his contract about to end, City did offered him contract extension but it was denied by him and City had nothing option but to accept Bayern bid offer in order to save the amount if they would have let him go for free.

Sane never felt not being wanted. He was injured and hence was unable to play just some gameweeks before the transfer.

The Frenchman is seriously considering the option of extending the contract

This will not be an ordinary contract extension, the head of Qatar, Emir of Qatar, really wants PSG forward Kilian Mbappé to stay at the club during the World Cup, which will be held in this country from November to December 2022.

The contract with the Frenchman can be extended by just one season. If the deal goes through, Real Madrid will get Mbappe for free, but after a year as Emir wants Lionel Messi, Neymar and Mbappe to headline the Paris squad. To convince Kilian to stay, PSG will guarantee him the opportunity to leave the club a year later than planned.

The parties will sign a new contract, according to which the forward will become the highest paid player in the club, surpassing even Messi. According to Todofichajes, this figure will be around 45 million per season.

The bad news for Real is that the club will have to wait another year or look for another player.

https://www.readfootball.com/pszh-mozhet-prodlit-kontrakt-s-mbappe-na-1-sezon-244181.html

The $ 45 million in salary does not seem like a lot for Real when they were willing to pay $ 220 million just to buy Mbappe. Taking into account the savings (Real Madrid will get Mbappe for free), Real can pay this money (45 million) as a one-time gift (in addition to the main salary) and still be in profit.

Benching him is a waste of talent. If Pep doesn't want to play him, maybe he should sell him. As a lot of teams would be interested in him.

100% true, it is really a waste. If I were him I would probably leave the club. Sterling is definitely fun to watch and there is no doubt about that I guess.
Grealish is a very different type of player. Not to compare him to Khedira, but it kind of reminds me of the time when Mourinho always let Khedira play. In my opinion Khedira really sucks, but obviously Mourinho had a very different opinion about him. I'd still stick to my guns and say that Khedira sucked hard, but who cares about my opinion anyway! Cheesy
I think in terms of the transfer fee Grealish is overrated.

The head coach of Real Madrid Carlo Ancelotti has asked the club's management to return Sergio Regilon, according to The Mirror.
Recall that last summer, the "cream" sold the player to Tottenham for 30 million euros. According to the source, the Royal Club can take advantage of the buyback option for 45 million euros.
It is worth noting that Regilon quickly became a key player in the London team and has not yet missed a single Spurs match.

@kassex considering the good work Ancelotti been doing this season, I wouldn’t be surprised if Real Madrid accepted his wishes and got Regilon back to the club. Also is no one here puzzled what’s happening with Van De Beek, because I’m livid at his condition and Manchester United should sell him and end his nightmare.

And the salary too. He will never find a club in this moment to even match his salary (unless it's Newcastle but Sterling will never go there).
Salah at Liverpool is battling to get his wages up and he is at least a regular producer and so important to his club. Sterling will always be the guy next to the main guy. I know he's a great player but I look at him and he's always just almost there. But maybe it's wrong to compare him with Tier A+ players as he is more to be compared to B+.
it is very difficult for him to move because he is hindered by an exorbitant salary and what you say is true, except with clubs of the caliber of wealth like Newcastle and PSG this reminds me of Bale, which is indeed a similar case.
and for sterling it's true he is a good player and a young player too but indeed the competition in the city is also quite tough so he doesn't get enough playing time.

I agreed with you for the need to allow Sterling stay in Man City, he posses most qualities of a good player, he has the pace, he can dribble well,  he reads the game well however he is wasteful in front of goal, not clinical finisher in scoring goals, nevertheless he is still very important to the team, signing of Grealish limits his playing time this season, the best bet for him is to move to another club if Pep continue to confine him to bench, where a regular playing time is guarantee so as to sustain his call up to English National team.

there must be a club like newcastle or psg to recruit sterling Cheesy
because it is not without reason, sterling with a price that is quite expensive and a salary that is large enough for now is not comparable to the performance he does on the field.
and city today is not a welcoming place for sterling anymore, a lot of talented players are in this club and this is what makes sterling lose in performance and almost forgotten.

Mbappe is a young player, you are not going to pay him 45 million for one year and get away with it, you are going to have to pay him that amount all the time if you want to keep him. This means that if Real ever offers him 45 million a year to get him early without paying any transfer fee, they would be saving from the 200 million they wanted to pay for him, but in 4-5 years that is gone already, what are you going to do after that?

Paying 200 million is a lot that is true but paying nearly 50 million a year is not that small neither, teams need to look at the future, if they are good now and can pay transfer fee because of it then it is great, but if they keep paying salary 7-8 years later then it will not be okay. Look at the Messi situation, dude was paid 70 million at its peak I believe, when Barcelona was great, the money wasn't an issue, the moment they started to be bad, that money started to be important.

Pep is very keen on keeping his strategy and maintaining it throughout the season. But I personally feel like Sterling is a better player than Grealish.
Grealish hasn't been playing so well since he joined City from Aston Villa, he is too slow on the ball, he is not really dangerous to opposition defenders as he just holds on to the ball without really threatening, I actually had the impression that Grealish's buy was unnecessary, and it's slowly turning out to be; I believe Pep is just giving him the benefit of the doubt for the meantime and pushing him on to improve. Having said that, comparing him with Sterling at the moment, I think Jack Grealish is just slightly better, Sterling has been pretty bad in the last couple of months, he has had zero confidence when on the ball, and has lacked composure when facing the goalkeeper, etc, Pep gave him time to improve, but that wasn't forthcoming, for now Sterling has obviously lost his spot in the team and he must either leave or improve, it's up to him.

I'm not sure if you're comparing Zidane to Conte, but we all know he's not as good as the media portrays him to be; in his entire coaching career, he only had three years of success, and he's been as horrible as Ole for the past three years, since since Ronaldo left. Fallout between players and coaches happens all the time, and that does not make a coach bad; Zidane had the same issue with Bale. Conte is the man for United if they want rapid success; if they want long-term nonsense, they need Arsene Wenger or Zinedine Zidane.

I think both are good coaches, but Ronaldo suggested Manchester United choose Zidane. Maybe because they've worked together and Ronaldo knows very well how he works. While the latest news that I read, Conte has refused a call from Newcastle United. He decided to wait for a call from Manchester United.

There is too much speculation about who will replace Ole, we don't know yet until further Information from the officials. As previously, maybe they have to look out again on the next games (vs Liverpool) when doesn't get won probably another surprise for fans will happen. but this is hard with an inconsistent team ever. today they got a win, tomorrow they got a loss and in the next week, they are tied. Maybe the owner still waiting for the new share ownership meeting. they have to meet for the most vote for continue Ole or not.

Next summer, FC Barcelona will compete with Madrid for the signing of Kylian Mbappé. Following the report, Barcelona are willing to pay €90m for the signing of the player. Barcelona could barely fire Koeman, but how could they afford Mbappe? The club wants to sign anything living. It is very likely they will abandon this race very soon. BTW! The decision about Mbappe's impending move has been made already - he knows where he will land next year.

Yes, but as I said, Sterling would never go to Newcastle I just cannot really see it. Unless he really is all about the money like Bale, who returned to Spurs even a year seemed weird to me until I remembered it was just about the money.

He'll never get the love he wished he had if he moves to Newcastle. Then again I don't think any player gets love at City. But that's what you get when you move for money.

It would be interesting to know which newspaper or TV Station reported this news because, at least in my opinion, it is 100% clear that this news is totally made up and has zero value. As you already said, Barcelona is pretty much broke and could not make messi stay even though he did not want to leave the Club and now they should suddenly be able to pay a transfer fee of 90M€ or more for mbappe plus his salary? That is just not possible. The only Clubs that could really afford mbappe are the english ones because of the high TV contract and maybe bayern munich.

With the ridiculous Haaland fees and wages it's very impossible to afford him except maybe Newcastle United with higher budget. Barcelona is in great debt and with the new Lialiga salary percentage limit they can not register anymore players except they sell two top players in other to have space to accommodate Haaland

The only Clubs that could really afford mbappe are the english ones because of the high TV contract and maybe ba

Chelsea was the only English club interested in signing him last summer, but they were unable to do so because to his exorbitant mwagws demand and agent fees; I doubt any English club would be willing to invest such money. If his wages are not decreased, he could end up on a free transfer to Bayern Munich.

As I wrote earlier, with a player's value of 200 ++ million euros, a one-time payment of 45 million to get it for free looks like nonsense. And so Barcelona is doubling that amount. Well, the race has begun. But I must note that the clubs have started a very dangerous game - having seen such offers, the rest of the star players will also want a serious (multiple) increase in income. It's easy to predict what this will lead to - another profitability crisis.

^ I think this is just some rumor that doesn't have any reliable source. Barcelona is so broke right now that they cannot even effort to sack their own manager for their own good because if they sack their manager they cannot get a better manager in this budget. Where it's already hard for them to run there on team and manager suddenly they are thinking about buying Mbappe He's just absolutely hilarious to me. The English clubs might fancy their chances with Mbappe but I don't think Bayern needs Mbappe right now as they already have players like Lewandowski, Muller.
