Why not pay €20m - €30m for Werner? It is a cheap price, his market value is still around €35m and he is still a young striker (26 years old). Moreover, Werner is very possible to perform well again if he can come back to Leipzig, he ever became a strong striker there.

I agree with you, Leipzig should be eager to pay €20m - €30m for Werner. They will have a good striker but spend cheap money on transfer fees. But, I think Chelsea won't let Werner move to another team for €20m - €30m only.

I think the deal between Chelsea and RB Leipzig for Timo Werner have been struck already, It's just a matter of time for the official announcement, I don't know what amount fee was agreed on, but I strongly doubt RB Leipzig would be paying anything near the fortune which Chelsea paid to sign a couple of years ago, and Chelsea doesn't have any future plan for Werner, so it's only right that they get the best amount and between 20m-30m would be a great deal for them imo, instead of just having him on the bench and keeping his wages on the clubs obligation list.

Youri Tielemans is one of the best midfielders in the English Premier League and with just one year remaining in his contract with Leicester, Arsenal might sign him. But according to reports there are no serious negotiations between the two clubs concerning the 25 years old Belgian international. I would advice Tieleman to remain in Leicester this season and improve his game, maybe by next season he might have a better offer from a Champions League playing club. Considering their recent performance, Arsenal might not compete favorably with other big teams.

Youri Tielemans is a player who has never left their radar in the transfer market, even from the start of the transfer window until now, Arsenal's focus on midfielders is still the same.

Brendan Rodgers was already spoke personally with Vardy that he want Vardy stayed in Leicester and recently Leicester also offering extended contract to Vardy because Rodgers said he is important player for Leicester however during playing for this team Jamie Vardy had stable performance and every seasons he has score a lot of goals so it is normal if Leicester want to extended his contract but i was wondering why Chelsea and Manchester United want him because he is not young anymore and they should be looking for young players

Marseille are about to sign Alexis Sanchez now as he is said to have terminated his contract with Inter. He can still be quite useful for the team he goes to by the way as he is 33 now. I guess he wouldn't retire before playing a few more years. However there is a problem that Marseille have already 4 centre-forwards in the team. By adding Sanchez also I wonder what they are planning to do. Otherwise it might be harder for Sanchez to be a regular player in the lineup unless he makes a big difference.

Is it still worth enough to get Vardy while he is 35 years old already? I do think that it is better if Chelsea or United try to find younger talented striker if they really need it. Of course it is fine  if any club can get him for free at the end of the contract. Try to get him by buying before his contract ends is not really worth imho.

The thing is for teams in the EPL I doubt Vardy will go anywhere other than Leicester. Currently his loyalty to Leicester is still maintained and indeed this is what makes it difficult for other teams to take him from there.
Most likely he will go to another League if he does not extend at Leicester the same as Schmeicel or indeed he will extend the contract until he runs out of career.

How does that work? I get that they sold a lot of stuff, their tv rights in a part, jersey sales and etc etc, but at the same time it makes no sense to me that they would make this kind of situation possible if you ask me, sounds like a weird place to be in. Can someone clearly explain to me what was the trouble they were in, and how did they get out of it to spend this much money?

As I understand it, Barcelona had a huge debt (about one and a half billion). To cut it short, Barcelona sold 25% of its media rights. But instead of using all the money to pay off debts (including to the players), Barcelona began to make purchases of new players. Now their budget for player salaries has increased, and La Liga is demanding that Barcelona cut the budget to 400 million, and until this figure is reached, Barcelona will not be able to register new players.

Actually, Manchester United already has Anthony Martial and Ronaldo, while Chelsea, who have released Lukaku to Inter Milan on loan, only leaves Kai Havertz who often plays as a false nine. Now Vardy is 35 years old and has only one season left on his contract with Leicester City. Vardy will be a panic buy for Manchester United and Chelsea because of his old age because it is very difficult for a player who is 35 years old to be able to maintain his performance especially in big games.
The summer transfer window is still open until September 1, both clubs can still look for talented young players rather than having to bring in players whose productive age is almost finished.

The club was broke, so it is no surprise they were signing all those players. They sign good players, so their fans defend whatever they do!
According to Barcelona, Frenkie de Jong should revert back to his previous contract. It is likely that Barca Board will take legal action in the wake of former board members' criminal behavior regarding his renewal. The Barcelona Board still has doubts about him. He owed them money, so they asked him to accept a salary cut? Hopefully everything will be resolved soon.
