I think Man Utd is more likely to get De Jong than Chelsea, the signing fee might not be a problem for Chelsea, but Man Utd offer a much higher salary than what Chelsea could afford £450,000 per week. Other than that, De Jong should be already familiar with Teh Hag's strategy. The Champions League will be a small problem for Man Utd, but I suppose De Jong would get over it.

An offer from Chelsea in my opinion is much more attractive for De Jong than from United - he will be able to play in the Champions League, this is a very serious plus. Barcelona are also interested in selling him.
