Frenkie de Jong is still speculated with a Premier League club now. Chelsea are highly interested this time and actually they have a probability to sign him as well. They just need to meet their demands about the transfer fee and I think they can convince the player to join for them nicely. I know that the player doesn't have a special intention to leave the team these days. But he isn't closing the door for a big team that can give what he wants at the same time. Chelsea can take advantage of this.

If I remember correctly they will have to pay a really big amount of money for this player. Barcelona cheerly will be able to use that money for a lot of things but my question is, is he going to be worth that much money?

In my opinion, yes he will be. But is it the right decision for Barcelona to let him go right now?

It will be really difficult for Barcelona to find a player like him at that position. And Barcelona has already spent a lot of money in this transfer market. Because they want to win a lot of things to get the money back. So they might as well keep this player also. There is no point in spending so much in the transformer market and letting one of the key players in the team go.

I think he's capable of competing, but it's more likely for him not to get that chance a lot of seasons because the coach doesn't want him or whatever.

I think it's good for him to move on and take a job at another team that is willing to give him a place. He will not be given much time to compete at Manchester United, so the final solution for him is a move away from Manchester United.

United is great and all, but between new transfer and Luke Shaw, that dude would have been the third player on that position and this means he doesn't get any minutes and yet still gets paid. Subs are not always bad, in Depay's eyes he wants to be in the main squad, but his role will be very useful. He was key in anticipation, but I also can't blame him when he wanted to be a mainstay at Barcelona, without that request he couldn't hold back any longer and kept raving about wanting to leave. What is certain is that Xavi as Barcelona coach knows what his team needs at this time.

Depay as a sub would be a big deal, plus he wouldn't be always a sub, Lewa would have to relax time to time and so will all the other offensive players and Depay could play in multiple positions. In fact, Barcelona built a team that could have two great offensive sides. One of them would be dembele, rapinha, lewa, and so forth, the other with gavi, fati, traore, aubameyang, depay and so forth.

I don't know, if I were a player I would really think about it. He is of an age, but plays quite well, yet no one knows when he plans to finish his career, so it's kind of disadvantageous to sign him. Just hours before the new season starts and Manchester United has not still settled this Christiano Ronaldo dilemma, how can a club like Manchester United allows this to happen,it just shows that the are not properly run, yea Ronaldo is a great player and a legend but he can be replaced, Manchester United needs to take this very serious,  they are acting as if they were the ones that won the League last season, the don't have a magnificent finisher entry into the new season, clubs like Manchester city and Liverpool who are better than United base on performance has already strengthen with haaland and Darwin Nunes respectively.

He'll have to accept half of that salary if he wants to join Chelsea. Already he's not that keen on leaving and that doesnt sound very motivating for him to leave. Would most likely be Depay making his way to Samford Bridge.

IMO, Chelsea won't have a chance to sign both Aubameyang and Frenkie de Jong. Xavi must be satisfied with Aubameyang's performance last season, it is stupid to lose this player from Barcelona squad. Moreover, Depay and Braithwaite seem to leave Barcelona as soon as possible, so Barcelona will have 2 CF only. While for Frenkie De Jong, he seems to stay because Barcelona president has stated that they want Frenkie to stay. Chelsea only has a chance to sign Depay, he is expected to leave Barcelona since the arrival of Lewandowski. Depay must have a better chance to play in Chelsea than staying in Barcelona.

Hmm weird. I watched the first round of the german cup this monday and there everyone said that Kostic will most likely stay in Frankfurt if nothing completely crazy, like a very high offer for him, will happen anymore. They also said that he will be one of the top earners of Frankfurt if he accects their offer to prolong his contract.
I personally think, that he should stay at Frankfurt. The fans love him there, he has won the Europa League with them and they can now even play Champions League this season. There are so many examples of players moving to another club and not really playing a important role there.

I don't know how Barcelona pay their players do high. Clubs are coming for Depay but I don't think he is willing to go. I prefer to maintain his salary for the next season even if he doesn't see good playing time. To me if I were to be a coach I can never choose Aubameyang over Depay, especially when I have Lewandowski. Though coaches know what they see, but when Barcelona was down, it was Memphis that was scoring for the club and always playing with high energy. I don't know why Xavi chooses to relegate him.

So Barcelona left with Alonso to try to bring, otherwise I see Chelsea willing to spend big, up to €300m to pick new players including de Jong and Aubemayang if possible.

There are really some rumours about a possible Aubameyang transfer to Chelsea. Barcelona also seem willing to sell him to Chelsea. Because they have already signed their main striker target who is Lewandowski. Aubameyang would have to wait on the bench as long as Xavi doesn't prefer a game plan with two strikers. Lewandowski still needs to adapt of course. Aubameyang doesn't have such problem and he has been a really nice scorer for the team so far.
