That power shopping that FC Chelsea did during the last winter break was really to me. They have spent the most money ever in a winter transfer period, if i remember correctly, and in the end it did not bring them any benefit even though they have spent so much money (more than 300 Million €). First of all clubs usually don't do big transfers in the winter because obviously it is the middle of the season and you don't have much time then to integrate a new player into the team and in the case of FC Chelsea, they have bought so many new players that it was almost impossible to form them to a team at all. Now they have a squad that is way to big. I think the main thing for Chelsea should be now to get rid of a few players first.

About Havertz topic I think Chelsea want too much money for him now. A demand like 75 million pounds isn't very reasonable I think. If he plays in the midfield, Havertz does not have defensive awareness so if he plays LCM, they have to figure out how to shield his weakness. Looking at the way he plays, i think he will create a suboptimal environment in their defensive transition. We mostly think of when the team is in control/ attacking phase. We will be very vulnerable in very succeptible to counterattacking team.

I have been saying this since they had potter. I really expected Potter to come out good for Chelsea because his Brighton team were very good but I was wrong. And Chelsea made the mistake of hiring Lampard, making the matters worst. Chelsea problem is just a good coach but the poor management decision, the management are responsible for the failure f the coaches, they bought players without the coach consent, they wasted money on players that are not to play in chelsea, and if they continue to manipulate the transfer market like that it will cost them more, regardless of the coach in charge.

Pochettino, is an experienced coach, he has to sell some players in the squad and bring in his type of player's. The management should give him free hand to operate.  and the fans should not expect him to perform magic in his first season, he inherited a damaged team.

Some news sources started to say that Manchester United aren't interested in Harry Kane anymore. Because they find his cost too much to bring to the team. Even if the take over will work, I am not sure it is working very soon. This ongoing negotiations will confuse Erik 10 from pursuing the players he wants to get for Manchester United.
