Barcelona forward Antoine Griezmann refuses to move to Juventus in exchange for forward Paulo Dybala. The Frenchman is said to only agree to a return to Atlético if the Catalans want to get rid of him this summer. The problem is that the fans of the Madrid club have previously reacted ambiguously to the potential return of the footballer.

As anyone noticed that transfer fees are increasing year by year but the amount of footballers that are now running down their contract is also increasing? Do you think this is linked? Many clubs cannot afford the excessive fees and probably discuss with the player and tell them to leave on a free and they will get a bigger contract.
It really is true that there seem to be more players at the moment than in previous seasons who have their contracts expire and then move on loan. Among them are even world-class players like David Alaba from FC Bayern and Donnarumma from AC Milan, both of whom have a market value of more than €55m. It is obvious that the clubs selling these two players did not plan it this way, as they are now missing out on a transfer sum of €60 million and more. I think a big factor why the contract extensions with the players fail is still the Covid pandemic. The clubs are still not sure how long they will have to do without the full income from ticket sales and are therefore not willing to pay such high salaries as they did 2 years ago. Clubs that have oligarchs and sheikhs behind them don't really care about that problem though because the financial fairplay is a joke.

Barcelona in desperate push to offload players and keep Lionel Messi"Messi is still a free agent and Barça will only be able to announce his deal once the club clear some of their debt." ( theguardian.com) Yeah, they still couldn't manage to sign a new contract with Lionel Messi. They still need to sell some players and increase their budget. If Barcelona fail on this, I wonder if Messi won't play for one season or not. If he really wants to continue at Barcelona, I think that he will take the chance of waiting for one season. PSG couldn't meet his demands. Maybe City can. But if City sign Harry Kane, I don't think that they would be very eager to spend much more money.

Apparently, FFP rules have been loosened and will be a lot less strict in the next 2 years. That is another wrong decision of course, because it will help the clubs with private investors to increase the gap further.
That's the main reason why PSG looks likely to retain Mbappe even after bringing 3-4 new players and why City can go for Kane and Chelsea can bid for Haaland.
If that's the case and FFP rules really are loosened again - it simply needs to be cancelled in full. Good idea but implementation is horrible from the start.

After Hakimi, Donnarumma, Wijnaldum and Ramos, attention is now turning to Pogba to be the next player this summer to the Parisian club. The expected amount to pay is between 50-60 million euros, and United will accept the sale if he is unable to renew the contract of the French player. Day by day Paris Saint Germain is getting stronger and more Stars and getting closer to his big dreams . I don’t know how Pogba's chance of staying with United this summer there have been no clear indicationon him wanting to stay or leave , in my opinion is it just a matter of time before we see it in Paris blue shirt.

Henderson out of Liverpool, this would be a bizarre decision. I can't see Henderson in any other club than Liverpool, belong to each other. it seems to me that it will pass the same as Coutinho, and wherever he goes it will be a step backwards for him.
to be clear, I am not a fan of Liverpool. Even on the contrary.
totally agree,,, as I said myself am not a fan, but unlike you maybe I am just neutral and do not dislike them (I love their coach and their players attitudes) except of course when they meet my team. But it is clear as day to see every time they play that Henderson belongs there. Unlike Countinho he is happy with them. If he leaves it will be because he is not wanted there and I cannot see either Liverpool act like this towards their captain.

This summer not as usual, seems like every club trouble on financial issue. Real Madrid president Perez informed that he won't be making any new signings this summer. Barcelona already going to financial crisis, and tried every possible attempt to reduce finance. Does Perez saving some cash in order to get any big players? He has big plans, that's for sure.
And you know what that means... Match results will be very unpredictable again. Expect to get more spots in underdog picks. The problem for me last season is I didn’t adapt. I hope to do better this coming season. Those 10 bucks per bet losses add up. Please tell me about it, I am one of those people who wager 10-20 bucks per game and not too much, but when you end up losing way too many times in a row then it adds up way too much, I probably ended the year on few hundred lost overall. Bundesliga specially destroyed me, I adapted to Juventus and Serie A not that badly, I adapted to Spain not so badly but La Liga and Ligue 1 was very hard to handle, plus Bundesliga... that was the worst one out of them all. I hope that I will be smarter this year, I am planning on not betting anything at all for the first 5 weeks on any league and I will be checking to see how they are playing, I will literally watch 90 minutes of all big clubs and check how they are playing both in strategy and in mindset. It is going to be very difficult 5 weeks when the leagues start, but it will definitely help me a lot compared to last year.

The internet can be brutal at times, look at what I dug up , someone insisting that Arsenal should have bought bitcoins instead of spending that 35 million pounds on Shkodran Mustafi...by now they would have banked one and a half billion pounds. What do you guys think? https://i.imgur.com/Rmaba5V.jpgIt is random and toxic behaviour which is common unfortunately in the past and exaggerated nowadays thanks to social media... Barely every single team has at least one regrettable contract which is a total failure and I insist on at least. I will cite just few examples: Dembele and Coutinho in Barca, you can add Griezmann too, Bale in Madrid for the last years and Hazard, Sanchez in ManU...and the list is long. If there is something to blame is the ridiculous paycheck those clubs offer to some players. At some point you would like to know is it all about the money?

Many clubs cannot afford the excessive fees and probably discuss with the player and tell them to leave on a free and they will get a bigger contract.
If I understood what you meant correctly. This is normal since when they are near the expiration of their contract they can leave for free and by doing so they can ask for more money at the new club since they are paying no fees. Look at Donnarumma, he left Milan for free, and he was a 6m€ yearly salary. He left for free to PSG while his value is over 50m but doing so his salary is now 12 m€. What we know is that Dybala's name has been strongly linked to Barcelona and that is an interest that returns after last summer's attempts. Still I agree with you that is quite a complicated deal for a series of reasons. In the coming weeks, Juventus sporting director Federico Cherubini will try to set up negotiations for the renewal of the player's contract: no meeting has been set yet, but there is a common desire to extend the contract that expires in 2022. This is an important signal that Juve wants to start again with its number 10 this season.

And I think for what they paid for Timo Werner, they should stick with him and let him develop. There’s potential in the guy. Chelsea should prolly acquire a cheaper alternative to Haaland.

I'm not sure about Werner, man. He's still 25 years old and he can develop actually. But he didn't give any green light in the last season. He was so clumsy on scoring goals. He was actually great at Leipzig. He scored many goals in the Bundesliga. We'll wait and observe him in the new season. If he still stays the same, then they should sign a top striker immediately.

He was much much cheaper Leipzig is belleived to have payed only €23Million. I belleive it was a steal from Leipzig if he continues performing they are going to sell him for €100M next season. Chelsea if they are truly not convinced with what they got they should find another alternative because I can't see Dortmund selling this summer.

I just can't hate PSG, even though the way they go about their transfers is somewhat irritating especially when a player's intention is to leave the club, they always hold them against their wishes. As for making offers to tempt players aways from their various clubs, I don't see a problem with that, Real Madrid have done just that for ages, and so have Barcelona at some point in time, since PSG can afford them then I'd rather we let them enjoy their time.

People talk about the probability of a Lewandowski transfer to Chelsea. But I don't think that it is very probable. Because Lewandowski is already very happy and successful at Bayern. He broke even a new goal record in the Bundesliga in the last season. While he is this much comfortable, why wouldn't he want to leave in the end? Chelsea shouldn't keep their hopes up about him and they should make a greater effort to sign Haaland this summer.
There is one last reason he'll prolly leave for, and that's to have a new experience in a different team and league, it happens to many players, especially when they are successful and have won everything in their present club, they thus want to try our something new, a different experiment to see how good they'll fair there. Having said that, I think Chelsea should not really be going after Lewandowski, he is 33, and in his very last years at the top of his game, if they can get him cheaper, then that's fine and good, but as it stands, it's apparent Bayern wouldn't sell for anything less than 50 million pounds, and that's even if they are willing to sell. I also think that they shouldn't make an effort to sign Lewandowski for this reason. He is getting really old for a CF day by day. I know that he was really awesome in the last season also but he can't keep up this great work all the time. After a point, his performance will decrease highly and he will be really far from his good times. It's the best for Chelsea to look for young and talented strikers like Haaland.

According to a rumour Chelsea had already started a discussion with Lewandoski's agent with agent Pini Zahavi, I don't think the deal will scale through Lewandoski had made a statement that is considering retiring in Bayern thus the chances of coming to Chelsea is very slim meanwhile chelsea having lost the bid to sign haaland due to unsatisfactory performances of Timo Werner lack of scoring goals as their main or top striker who he managed to score just six goals last season and Olivier Giroud had left for AC milan while Tammy Abraham is not on Tuchel plan next season signing of any of the duo of Halaand and Lewansdoski should have filled void of departure of Giroud and possibly need an experienced striker to challenge for title next season.
