For sure David Alaba is a very good player , but it depends on what kind of other players are around him playing with him ,we have seen that one the EM.
Alone they cant make big things and they need at least 1 or 2 more good players around them they can play with.
But David Alaba can be a big player in the next years like Roberto Carlos was once .

Regarding Alaba - his contract details leaked to the media today. Apparently he will earn over 115m euros during his 5-year contract. He also got a signing bonus of 17.7 million as a free agent. 10 more million were given to his agent and apparently, also to his family.

He is good but not that good. Really crazy contract, it will cost Real more than twice as much than what they received from selling Varane - a better player overall.

Valentin Rosier is officially eagle again. Beşiktaş signed a loan deal with 4.5 million Euro future fee to Sporting. At the end of the year he will be in Beşiktaş permanently. Right back is secured now, last year he was one of the architects of double championship.

Real Madrid doesn't have a choice after letting Ramos go and seeing the intention of Varane to leave the club. Besides, Varane wasn't constantly good especially when Ramos wasn't playing. Overall Alaba will be the main defender of los blancos for the upcoming years.

It is too early to compare him with Roberto Carlos. I even don't see the ability owned by him to be compared with Roberto Carlos. Don't forget that Alaba seems to be a central defender, it is a crucial position on Real Madrid and has no longer strong players in that position after Ramos and Varane leave. I don't know what Real Madrid management plans for the defense line, but the remaining CB is only Militão, Nacho, and Vallejo. These players aren't strong enough to be expected as main CB in this season. Alaba will have big difficulties keeping the Real defense line if he is partnered with these players.

I think will Alaba is actually worth that much in today's market, True that Real Madrid is paying x2 of what they got from Varane sale on Alaba, but if more logically isn't Varane costing Man Utd more than Alaba would cost Real Madrid. In the case of Varane I assume Real Madrid had no choice than to either hold Varane against his will and lose him for free, or negotiate to get the best as they possibly could. I wouldn't agree with Varane being the better player overall, he arguably is the better player as a CB, but Alaba is more versatile.

There is no change to the situation between Kylian Mbappé and PSG. With one year remaining on his contract, he is not willing to renew, although his club PSG may not give up easily. Perhaps the club could make some money off him this season if they sell him. You should realize that football is a business, if he is unwilling to renew his contract, then why is he living for free?

If PSG haven't put him up for sale yet, it's because they're hoping that he would change his mind and reconsider before his contract with them expires. Paul Pogba contract at Manchester is only 1 year away, if Manchester United really wants to get some money, of course selling Pogba now is the right option, especially according to the news that Pogba will only extend his contract at Manchester if they increase Pogba salary to 400 thousand pounds per week, and it's really a very high salary in the premier league, with such a high salary demand I think liverpool of course will also think again about recruiting pogba even though they are really looking for a replacement for Wijnaldum at the moment, and the only club that can indeed fulfill pogba request only PSG and most likely PSG will be the next club for paul pogba.

The latest news is quite surprising that Pogba is starting to be interested in Manchester United's projects in building a team by bringing in Varane

But Sterling in his current shape (if he can keep it from the EURO) is worth quite a lot as well, wouldn't you say so? If City paid around 110 million and added Sterling on top, we would pretty much arrive at around 160 million. I'd be surprised if Tottenham declined to get Sterling on top of 110 million in exchange for Kane. Yes Sterling isn't Kane's calibre, but still could play an important role for Tottenham.

I believe Pep knows exactly what he wants from a Player, ober the past years making the right decisions when it comes to the signature of a great player isn't a hard one for him.
Jack Grealish isn't an over hyped player,i think he's what the buy.
A whole lot of playing time will definitely make us Wow, working under the best Coach in the world,will be of great help in this new Phase.
