Dont you think that marketing and financial are related to each others? If you say it does make senses for marketing perspective then it will give an effect to the financial of the team. More fans will come to watch = more money, more sales on the official merchandise = more money, it is basically make senses for financial perspective as well.

Aside from that, imagine how the fans would react if you let the rival club sign Ronaldo. Fans would be mad with it and at some point it would affect the club as well because of the dissatisfaction. Thats probably the key point for Manchester United on deciding to sign Ronaldo and I kinda doubt that the board management would react the same way if it was PSG that moves in to sign Ronaldo from Juventus,

But in terms of what Ronaldo would offer, not much aside from leadership here and there to the youngsters at man utd.

Well I'd expect him to score around 15 goals this season, thats pretty much low even for his standard because he scored over 20 goals in a season most of the time

It seems that PSG does not intend to let Mbappe go, therefore PSG deliberately set a very high price. I believe Real Madrid will not increase

PSG is not going to sell Mbappe, but is just playing for time. Most likely they want to leave him and try to conclude a new contract with him. If Mbappe's desire to move to Real Madrid is strong, he will just need to play for one year and after moving to Madrid get a good bonus.

It's La Liga's loss honestly. They let their best player and also the greatest of all time to go to France and now they have no face for the league. PSG don't need money, why would they sell Mbappe? They can start Mbappe Messi and Neymar all at once and bench Di Maria, because they CAN.
Real Madrid will probably not find anywhere else to spend this money, transfer window is almost over. They have to rely on Vinicius Junior to perform a spectacular performance in big games.

A sizable request of 200 million euros is not an easy thing but if Real Madrid wants it, it can happen, this is still a lot of drama where the value is quite high, while PSG still needs Mbappe in the UCL this season as a champion target.

They can still transfer Mbappe if they overpay for his contract instead of 200M €, which they will give to the testimonial next year. They also get rid of such high costs. I read that Mbappe also wants to play for Real Madrid. Waiting a year can save them 200 M€.

From what I see is like PSG value his contributions he is gonna put into till remainder of contract far more valuable than 200 million offer. Yeah it is a lot but guess they don't want to repeat the last Ligue race again where Lille went on to win the Ligue 1 with 1 point lead over PSG. They want to be what I will say " well-equipped" for this season and try to win CL and Ligue 1.

Yeah it's a bit shocking but that is how they think and there are very less with such thinking and mentality- I must say. I wouldn't be surprised if they still decline another good bid. They don't want to sell and their president made it clear when the UEFA groups were drawn that there stance is clear and won't budge from that.

I think the main reason for this surprising transfer is the fact that the owners of Manchester United, after the fiasco with the Super League project, could not allow another big failure and cause renewed hostility and indignation from the fans, which would have happened if Ronaldo had gone to City.
In this way, they satisfied their fans, they bought more time at the club and the fiasco from the super league will be forgotten.
Ronaldo in this story is just a means to cover some other important problems of the club and personally he will not help the club much because his time has passed.

I don’t think Ronaldo’s time has passed, of course he’s not as fast as before, but he doesn’t have to play center forward and compete in speed with defenders. He can return to the role he already played in Manchester United as a midfielder, in addition, when playing set pieces, he will be dangerous as in his best years (due to experience).

It is not about Ronaldo not being good enough, he is great but if he is the most paid player in your team than there is a big problem because he definitely doesn't deserve to be the most paid player on your team, he should be maybe 3rd or 4th but that's about it.

It is not about the talent, it is about the age, and if you have a player who you rate 80/100 right now but 23 years old, and have Ronaldo who you rate 90/100 even right now but at this age, I rather pay the young kid a lot more money, even double, why? Because, I can use that player for 10-12 or even more years whereas Ronaldo will play at United for probably 3 seasons max, that's all I can see him doing, after that he either retires or he plays at a much lower level team or benched at United or goes to Qatar or something. There is no way a 40 year old Ronaldo would be a starting eleven guy at a serious club who wants to win.

This source claims that Real Madrid gave PSG until the end of the day to decide whether they would sell Mbappe or not. But I already heard that Real Madrid made an offer worth €200m but they gave up on the transfer as PSG side didn't respond to them still. It is really not understandable to see PSG not accepting an offer like this. They already wanted an offer over €200m and they got what they wanted. If they don't sell Mbappe to them now, he will be free agent at the end of the season and they are going to have to let him go for free. I know that PSG are a rich club but they shouldn't reject a huge offer like this I think.

Maybe not many people know of Marcel Sabitzer but he is a really good player. I liked to watch him at Leipzig. He played important roles on Leipzig's wins so far. His market value was around €4m before coming here. Bayern Munich signed him for only €15m which is like free. And now, his market value has increased to €42m. I don't know whether he would be able to be in the starting eleven. But he can do a great job when he gets the chance.

I don't think there are many teams that can compete for Bayern Munich in the league. Their strongest rivals are Borussia Dortmund. However, the strongest candidate for the championship is again Bayern Munich. Marcel Sabitzer can be considered a very good transfer as he was bought for €15M instead of €42M. I have no doubt that he will put forward better statistics at Bayern. The Austrian player is a football player who can follow positions very well.
