I think quite the opposite.
mbappe's reason for not extending the contract and really wanting to keep moving could be that he wants to get more profits later. He is now ready for a free transfer and this is something that is profitable for him because apart from the price which is quite expensive, his salary will be very good at his new club later.
Him and Real Madrid probably will happen now because indeed he is currently closest to the Spanish giants and I still feel if next season he will definitely wear the Real Madrid shirt.

For Mbappe, the best action to take would be joining Real Madrid this summer and it seems like he will. Real Madrid are his dream team and Real Madrid want to sign him so bad too. PSG wouldn't be able to do anything to keep him for at least one more season I think. Whether they win the Champions League title this season or not, Mbappe wouldn't care about it and still would join Real Madrid. If it was some smaller club then I would guess that "his childhood dream team" would not matter at all. Actually, rumors of Pochettino going to become Man United coach already existed when Pochettino was still manager of Tottenham. And now

I remember back in 2018/2019 season when he was just 19 years old and straight get a special position to be in the first team as he shows an extraordinary impression , the first two great years at roma making him considered as one of the wonderkid.

But yeah as you said, he is prone to injury. The third year and fourth year he got long injury having 9 months injury and the other years got 5 months injury makes his talent a bit buried.

Another bad idea from Man United to choose a coach. I don't see something special with Pochettino, he even fails to optimize many superstars in PSG this season. Man United management needs to evaluate his plan to hire Pochettino since this man isn't an appropriate coach to manage Man United. They should target a bigger coach like Zidane, at least trying to hire a reputable coach. If Man United continues to try signing random coaches, I doubt they only waste time and money.
