I hope the competition for top goalscorers this season doesn't make them so selfish in scoring goals.

How long laliga have been started? if that was almost at the end of la liga and you can sure about that but it's only a few match since la liga has begun. that means if the chance for benzema to compete with lewandowski will always there.

Sure. Getting injured for a long time is very possible to affect a player's performance. It depends on how the effort of Kante to play again with his best form. If Kante has a strong intention to perform again at his best level, I think it is not impossible to see Kante play again in his previous form. As far as I know, Kante is a hard worker. He is a typical player who always pushes his performance to the next level. Because of this, I am not afraid that Kante will play again at his best level. And I am pretty sure that Chelsea will extend his contract as expected.

No one doubts the skills or ability of Diego Costa, he is an experienced and strong striker. But he is well known as a temperament striker who often makes unnecessary behavior during the match. It sometimes makes him absent (doesn't play) in some matches because of punishment. If he can't handle his bad behavior, he can get difficulties playing consistently in EPL. But if he can control his emotion, I believe he can be successful with Wolves.

The Chelsea now is not the Chelsea it used to be, Chelsea used to have good strength, but now they often lose and struggle to reach number one at the top of the table, Wolves have a very low position and they must be able to work as a team well to increase points by win the game, but it looks like it will have to be done hard considering the opponents they found are very strong and very professional.

It makes a lot of sense since Wolves got it for free. Diego Costa is 33 years old. Physically it has started to decline, but Wolves should not set targets too high on a striker aged 33 years.

In my personal opinion, Barcelona didn't play badly, it's just that the opportunities they got could not be maximized by Lewandowski and his colleagues, especially in the first half.
Statistically Barcelona controlled the game with 53% ball possession and 18 total shots, but I think bad luck was on their side. as for Bayern Munich, the strategy used by Nagelsmann was very effective, he rotated Sadio Mane and Muller. Of course 33 isn't too old for a striker, like you rightly mentioned Lewandowski, Benzema, and many other strikers, and infact players above 30 are still performing quite well, but then again you need to take a closer look at the teams these players play for, Benzema is currently playing for the European champions, quite a lot of the players above and around that age that are still firing on all cylinders are in top clubs, Diego Costa i'm afraid hasn't moved to a top club btw, so you can't expect too much from him in Wolves, he will do his best for sure, but a club can never be a one man party.

I do not think Chelsea will budge, they usually do not give players above thirty anything more than a year or two contract extension, and i don't think Kante's case will be different, but then there is a new management in charge like you said and we would see how they handle this situation, Kante has served the club very well since his move from Leicester, and a three-year extension might be no more than what he deserves. Having said that, i am pretty sure various other clubs will be monitoring this situation right now, and if there is a breakdown in negotiations, some of them will not fail to offer Kante a contract he might not be able to say no to.

Agree with what you said, he is one of the players who has an important role at Chelsea at the moment although indeed this season his role is still not visible but indeed he can be one of the players to be reckoned with when the team recovers.
Regardless of his age, he is actually quite reasonable when his contract duration is three years if this can be realized.

I do not get why people consider him "aging" though, Benzema was 35 years old when he scored all those goals last year and managed to win the UCL title and La Liga title with Real Madrid. Kane is 31 years old and a 3 year contract would mean that he would be 34 by the time it ends, or 35, those are still doable numbers and not aging if you ask me, not in this football world at least.

I get that some people remember the old days when players retired at 35 or even ealrier but people like Kante take care of their body nowadays and can play even as old as 40 years old, so I do not think that 34-35 would be that bad. Plus, he isn't some role player, dude is their best player and they should do whatever it takes to keep them in check.

I think that the average longevity of players has gone up by at least 3 to 4 years. Because if you look at some legendary players from the past almost all of them retired before the age of 32 or 33. However, nowadays there are some players like Benzema who start to flourish after 35. If you look at Luka Modric, he is 37 and still is one of the most talented midfielders at this moment. So we can surely say that N'Golo Kanté will be able to play till he is 37 or 38 at the highest level. Although we will need to wait and see what the new Chelsea management thinks about him and whether they renew with him or not.
