According to the latest news and his latest price was around 110 millions that's a very big amounts of money to be paid just to get him. Real madrid may think another option other than him which priced even lower but has the same quality as gvardiol. There's no guarantee if gvardiol will be also playing good in the new team. I guess that recruiting new player can't only be seen from the result of world cup.
The world cup can't be considered as a good aspect to determine whether that player was worth to buy or not. Let's see which club that will be willing to buy him and i guess none.
