Of course Man Utd duo of Martial and Rashford had a good game and good understanding in their last match against Nottingham Forest in the absence of Ronaldo however how consistently well will the duo play in their subsequent matches? considering the

You’re exactly right, we desperately need to upgrade our midfield. Thiago is brilliant but always injured. Henderson is past his peak & it looks like Fabinho might be too. Keita is a pointless player, his fitness record is a joke. I can’t wait for him to leave on a free transfer in the summer. Milner is old, Curtis Jones is crap & I’m not convinced Elliot or Carvalho are good enough.

To conclude, it could easily be said we need 3 starting XI quality midfielders. We have the best GK in the league, top class fullbacks & good centre backs. Our attack is world class, it’s only midfield that lets us down.

I see links to Calceido from Brighton. Signing him in January & Bellingham in the summer would be a big help & set us up for the next few seasons.

Even though they are now better at scoring goals, I think they need a striker who has good instincts. Maybe now it doesn't look like that much of a problem because they can still score goals without difficulty, but things like this are exactly what any team should anticipate, and Manchester United is no exception.
