I am always surprised that apparently even the top clubs are acting so hasty sometimes with their transfers and it seems like this is especially the case after big international tournaments like the European Championship or after the World cup. Of course Cody Gakpo and also Enzo Fernandez showed some great performances in the world cup, but i still surprises me that just because of those few games suddenly every big club seems to want to sign them. If that really is the case then i think those clubs should be a little more careful. I mean Enzo Fernandez is a good player but 120M€ for a player that has a market value of 55M€ is just way to much in my opinion.

Hopefully Cody Gakpo can answer all the expectations placed on him, unlike his predecessor, Darwin Nunez, who did not make Liverpool's performance any better.
