I actually thought that Barcelona is going to sell the players that they are not playing regularly. One of them is Memphis Depay. If Barcelona sells him I think Barcelona is going to get a good amount of money and also it is going to be better for Barcelona to manage the wages.

However, I believe Barcelona is going to keep him as the potential replacement for Robert Lewandowski. Because you know that Robert  Lewandowski does not get injured easily. But what if he does get injured? Barcelona will be having a very big problem if that happens.  So, I think Barcelona is just keeping him for safety. But is that okay with Depay?
How you can expect there's a new club will want to spend a lot money to sign an inactive player and doesn't show good performance? Depay has joined Barcelona since July 2021 and he only play for 42 matches with 14 goals, also he join Barcelona is free from Lyon. I would say it's already good if a club want to spend him for 22 Million Euro since it's his market value, I would expect lower than that.

It will be hard to find a player to replace Lewandowski because almost a good pure striker has joined in top clubs.

I don't see messi being as greedy as cristiando ronaldo, moreover messi is not very old yet anyone can see that messi's moves are still the same, also messi's dribbling quality is still far superior in relation to many players , while in the case of cristiano ronaldo he started by not participating in manchester united friendly matches in the pre season games, and this meant that the manchester united coach did not put ronaldo to play and with that ronaldo's skills declined a lot to the point of having a bad performance in the world cup, and again he went to complain about the coach which made him stay on the bench, while messi thinking about having some cases reported that he also complained about the barcelona coach, the one who destroyed the barcelona he was before xavi, messi still has 100% of his active skills, he doesn't need to go play in arabia where they have low quality soccer
So you mean the greed that made Ronaldo decide to move to Al Nassr?
That's not it mate, it's not about the money, Ronaldo has had everything amassed since his career in the world of football.
Manchester United did not appreciate the existence of Ronaldo in their squad which made the two parties have to part ways that were not harmonious. Ronaldo is also having trouble finding a club on the European stage after his status as unemployed even though he has lowered his salary.
Al Nassr came as a savior for Ronaldo, he is much appreciated there. Ronaldo will also receive a high salary that is difficult for other players to solve, including Messi.

Could be a mind game from guardiola to put another level pressure on artera to make him overconfudence and hoping for arteta to fall on it , i could be wrong but guardiola always doing his thing in smart way , i still believe manchester city the one who could catch arsenal.
Despite arsenal being unbeatable right now.
I don't think so. You shall see that arsenal was winning against totenham. Having 8 points gap to the arsenal was a lot. Arsenal will be facing manchester united which will become a very strong opponent that may prevent arsenal to get full points but with the current performance from arsenal and im not even feeling doubt if the club will able to win against MU. City will be also facing totenham. These matches very important for both. If city keeps performing like when it was against united and i think that draw may become the result against totenham.
It seems like that guardiola starting to be hopeless to get EPL for this season. Pep was focusing to get into the UCL right now

The way arsenal is playing this season is obviously something that cannot be underestimated. So the 8 points lead is going to be very beneficial for Arsenal. And by now, I am quite sure that Manchester City is putting the champions League as the main target of this season. They do not care if they are the second team in the English Premier League this season. They have to win the Champions League title. That's what my assessment of the situation is.

And if that is the truth, Arsenal is going to try to take advantage of this situation and be the title winner of the English Premier League this season. Arsenal already have eight points advantage which they are also not going to just throw away anyway.

I don't know if it is really true but it is claimed that Chelsea are ready to listen to offers for Sterling in this transfer window.

It has been only half a season since he joined the team. I don't understand why Chelsea can be eager to sell him already now. He isn't the reason of their bad form in the end. It is due to the team effort and some weaknesses in specific positions. Now they are trying to fix these by making new transfers. Sterling is still a good attacking player and he can be useful for Chelsea. They shouldn't be in a hurry to part ways with him just yet.
Actually, Sterling's performance at Chelsea is quite good, Chelsea should be able to reconsider Sterling's offer in this transfer window. This is speculation in my opinion, maybe Chelsea want to get their capital back, after they managed to get Mudryk for 100 million euros? Is the club currently in a bad financial situation? It shouldn't, considering Todd Boehly is a rich and successful man.

Chelsea's current forwards are no more creative than Sterling. I don't think there is any valid reason for them to send Sterling to another team. On the other hand, Manchester City are also having trouble scoring goals in their last game. Because the entire burden of the team is on Haaland's shoulders. The team almost can't win when he doesn't score. A striker who can share his burden would also be good for Manchester City. So I think it would be a good development for Pep Guardiola if Sterling returns to Manchester City. Also, having one of Gabriel Jesus and Sterling on the team would have been a more plausible option from a planning standpoint. I think they went into an aggressive transformation by sending both of them off the team at the same time.

I believe the Chelsea situation is beyond any player. Sterling is a great player who has been tested in the league. I can still clearly recall his performances in Manchester City and Liverpool.
He made the right choice by joining Chelsea, and he has already established himself there. Even though the club's current form is worse. If Potter Graham were fired and replaced with a new hire, I have no doubt that they would recover.
Sterling is still in contact with the club, so I don't think Chelsea will sell him this year. It's also too early to talk about his transfer.

all seen when the midfield from Man City always failed to send the ball to Haaland. their midfield was interrupted by Ten Hag's aggressive strategy in midfield and managed to completely overwhelm Man City's defense.
if City wants to make Haaland more productive. yes, the only way is to lighten Haalan's burden not to go down to pick up the ball. and made their midfield very strong. or create other attack options besides putting Haaland alone up front. Regarding Sterling, in the last match, he suffered an injury that is rumored to take a long time to recover. Man City must look for other alternatives.

At this point, I think he doesn't remain much to do for Guardiola.

Completely abandon the race for the premier's victory and do all in to try to win the Champion.
he signed a two year contract extension which will keep him at Manchester City until 2025 and i don't think he's leaving before that regardless of the results of this year, i have high hopes for Man City in the next season, i think they could win every trophy they play and i really believe it can happen, and i'm also sure Pep will move on in 2025 regardless of the results as well, he will try to make the best of his last season with Man City, and he has the players to do so.

Chelsea has a deeper pocket than Arsenal, which is why they offer the player more than Arsenal will.
Chelsea promised to pay the player twice what Arsenal promised him, as well as guaranteeing him a starting spot in the first eleven, which Arsenal cannot do due to the presence of Martinelli and Bukayo Saka; Mudryk as a player will undoubtedly want to be a starter and also play in the Champions League, whereas if he signed for Arsenal, he would be playing in the Europa League with no guarantee of a starting spot, which is the main reason he chose Chelsea over Arsenal.

Not only that cause Todd Boehly  sold the dream he has for Chelsea to Mudryk and he loved it. Arsenal are just having a one season miracle while Chelsea are just having a bad season. On the long run, Mudryk knows what Chelsea are capable of achieving immediately we get everything sorted out and not surprised Mudryk is signing a long term deal. At the moment Chelsea are building and any players that understands that won't hesitate to join in the vision.

We all could see how Enzo Fernandez was so excited with the idea of joining Chelsea even with all the bad form and negativity in the media towards the club. Chelsea is a force in England and people have to start accepting that fact. We can compete with any team in England and get the prayer off them just as we have been doing. Thought you all said Todd Boehly wasn't going to spend, oh wait now you're complaining he's spending too much.
Todd Boehly has been bossing the transfer market for Chelsea so far, pulling deals and making things happen. Chelsea management are seriously making efforts to strengthen their side and eager to turn things around. I guess Boehly's project in the long run is interesting as you say and joint with the mouthwatering offers Murdryk could not resist. I don't blame the player anyway because he had little or no choice after the club had agreed a deal with Chelsea for his signature.

Did anyone watch Mudryk play for more than 2 games? The guy has 50 games in total for Shakhtar, I really cannot understand how they got 100 million for him.

The initial offer Arsenal started with was 40 million, this exploded way too high and way too fast. I feel Boehly has no clue what he's doing.

To be honest, with this kind of spending Chelsea has to be looked at as a title contender - which means that they are drastically underachieving.

Modryk is a good signing and making him sign such a long term contract with the team is an incredible start for the Ukrainian and the team. Todd boehly is the man that always go for what he wants, he doesn't relent on formal duty but pull up bids that the player and club can't declined, because they're probably the best bids any club could offered. Claiming that he's spending much on the transfer window, it's definitely one of the good things to do in my opinion, glad that he's been active in the market with bringing in youngsters in the team, therefore in the upcoming years, Chelsea will still have bright good players that will served a good interest for the team. Blues might not been in their best form this season but Todd using this period to fixed things in the club, getting potential backup players for each player on the pitch. Enzo Fernandez also on the rader, but this time blues are dominanting the market with any player they aimed at, they got it. Presently no team would wished to be in competition with Chelsea on any transfer deal, because we already know who wins.

I don't think it is even too late for Manchester City to achieve whatever they want for the season . I know Manchester City has been so challenging to them but I know Pep Guardiola will do something to revive the performance of his team.

I think they went into an aggressive transformation by sending both of them off the team at the same time.
all seen when the midfield from Man City always failed to send the ball to Haaland. their midfield was interrupted by Ten Hag's aggressive strategy in midfield and managed to completely overwhelm Man City's defense.
if City wants to make Haaland more productive. yes, the only way is to lighten Haalan's burden not to go down to pick up the ball. and made their midfield very strong. or create other attack options besides putting Haaland alone up front. Regarding Sterling, in the last match, he suffered an injury that is rumored to take a long time to recover. Man City must look for other alternatives.

I believe they are just aiming to bring in new players to the team. That's why they are trying to sell Sterling so that they can bring in a new player in his place. I also know and agree that he is not the reason for the downfall of Chelsea. But sadly he will have to move away from Chelsea because right now Chelsea is more interested in experimenting with new players instead of bringing in a new authority.

Like a lot of people, I also do not understand this thought process from Chelsea. And I certainly think that if they wait long enough, they will find a good deal for Sterling. So I absolutely agree that they should not hurry.

Chelsea will have to offload or sell some of those players the club had embarked on signing spree how would the club manage the injured players when they are fit and back to the team? definitely the club will want to recover some funds out of their huge spendings thus trimming the squad is inevitable, I don't think players like Abumeyang, Kante and few others will be retained at the end of this season, Sterling is still an important player for the club I don't think he would be sold in summer he is a quality player and with his bulk of experience is added advantage for the club which could assist the young players in the squad.

I shall remind you that if arsenal keeps performing so well like the previous match against totenham and then it doesn't matter how good manchester city and arsenal will still win the trophy. The gap is so big right now. It's almost 9 points. If manchester city will be losing again and im sure that city has no chance to comeback again to compete with arsenal to get the EPL title for this season. Even pep was also feeling pessimistic about that.
It's caused by when manchester city was facing more and more loses but at the same time arsenal is starting to get more and more full points from winning any match

I think it's not a matter of being greedy or not but in the end it comes down to choice.
Regardless of what we initially thought that Ronaldo would not play at Al Nassr because in terms of skills and dribbling he could still play in Europe but in the end he went to this club. it is not impossible that this also happened to Messi in the end.
Even though we don't really like it, believe it or not, Ronaldo's coming to the Arab League is clearly like opening the door for several European players who will be easily recruited here and it's not impossible for Messi in this case because still with money everything can still be turned around.

It is certainly not a matter of being greedy. Cristiano Ronaldo was unable to find a top club that is playing in the Champions League. So he basically had to choose the money. And we also have to remember that Cristiano Ronaldo is 38 years old. I do not understand what people expect from him at this age.

Yes, Lionel Messi is also quite old and still playing very well. But we also have to remember that the first season of Cristiano Ronaldo with Manchester United a few years ago was very good as well. His performance dropped in the second season with Manchester United. And we have seen Lionel Messi play. He certainly does not depend on his physicality. He depends on his experience to perform well.

I am quite disappointed with this news, because initially Mudryk really wanted to play with the Gunners. however, it seems Donetsk is reluctant to let go of Mudryk at the nominal price offered by Arsenal. in the end Chelsea succeeded in hijacking Arsenal's move to bring in this young winger from Shakhtar Donetsk, something quite fantastic with what the Chelsea boss had done. at least now Chelsea has several newcomers and what is interesting, will Chelsea still be hunting for other players, especially for midfielders in this January transfer window.

Speaking of Arsenal, by the way it looks like Arteta has no other choice but to sign a pure Striker this January. the reason is, Arsenal really need a striker services purely for the needs of his team. Arteta needs other options, apart from only relying on Eddie Nketiah, who has yet to prove his sharpness.

Yup, Ronaldo has no interest in joining Al-Nassr at the beginning. Even when the offer came, he didn't take it and try to find European clubs. Because his dream is to win the champions league or at least return to playing in the UCL. However, his salary is too high for a player who is considered old in Europe, so that no one can afford to pay Ronaldo's salary. Al-Nassr was an offer that came in and there was no choice for Ronaldo. IMO

Well, in Asian level i think Ronaldo still can give his best performance. Maybe now his target to win AFC Champions League with Al-Nassr.

Sunday's transfer gossip:

Barcelona are in no rush to sell Netherlands forward Memphis Depay and are happy to keep the 28-year-old until his contract expires in the summer. Why should Barcelona be in a hurry to sell Depay? He is playing very well at the moment and it is questionable how much money Barcelona has to buy new players.
Real Madrid are making England and Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham, 19, a priority in the transfer market. A completely understandable decision by Real considering how old Modric is and that they need to find a worthy replacement for him as soon as possible.
Chelsea have made a 30m euro (£26.5m) bid for PSV Eindhoven's England Under-21 winger Noni Madueke, 20. A lot of money for a very young player.
Liverpool have ended contract talks with midfielder Naby Keita and will let the 27-year-old Guinea international leave on a free transfer in the summer. The player did not prove himself in Liverpool and leaves as a playing and financial failure.
Tottenham will meet with Sporting Lisbon this week to discuss a deal for Spain right-back Pedro Porro, 23, who has agreed personal terms with the club. Porro is a very promising player and could be a great reinforcement for Tottenham.

Source: https://www.bbc.com/sport/64277056
Barcelona have often indicated their interest in retaining the Dutch man in the club which comes as a surprise to me given my reason that they barely play him and he has not even been in the team's first eleven squad. I am now skeptical that Real Madrid are so interested in signing Bellingham this season because if they are so serious I expect something would be done by now but nothing not even a bid has been made.

It shouldn't, considering Todd Boehly is a rich and successful man.
But even if you have to sack Graham Potter, it's also too soon, he is indeed fully responsible for the bad results that Chelsea have got this season, but at least he should be given another chance to cultivate the depth of the Chelsea squad, which has now also bought several new players in the transfer market. Sterling is positioned as a productive wing, it seems that even if Chelsea sells it, no one can replace him at this time.
