I don’t think Man City's Ilkay Gundogan is the ideal candidate for Arsenal's summer midfield plans. Although his contract expires in the summer and faces a potential exit despite being a regular this season. For a player with not many years left on his career, it’s not a good investment so I don’t think Arteta will bring him to the Emirates. Barcelona are the ones keen on signing him with Xavi searching for a new midfielder to bolster his squad as Sergio Busquets leaves at the end of the season.

It's so sad that we easily forget the better days of Edwaud mendy. The Fifa best goal keeper 2022 is now reduced to a no choice level. I know it didn't work well for Mendy this season but since the Spanish goal keeper became Chelsea's first choice I haven't seen any significant change in the club.
