When they get their money's worth I think they'll consider letting him go even though they haven't received any major contributions from Diaz. It is certain that Aubameyang has been very tired of being on the Chelsea bench and his decision to return to Ligue 1 will mark his revival as a goalscoring striker. I think Marseille was lucky enough to get Aubameyang on a free agent and Marseille also gave him a contract until 2026. I even thought he would be signed for one season before he finally went to accept an offer from a Saudi league team.

But it seems the passion to play football in Europe is still strong and he is very happy to accept the contract for three years. That's is what i have been waiting for. Aubameyang has been trying so hard to leave from chelsea but since chelsea prevents him to join in the barcelona and marseille has become his main target. Im really happy to see him get a new place.
He was not able competing in chelsea. I don't even know whether he has personal problem or not but it's likely for me if aubameyang has lost his instinct as a striker. He was only make a few goals during all of his matches wich chelsea which is a horrible result.

With an age that is still said to be capable of guarding the team, it was a good decision for him to switch to the French 1st league, and he entered one of the teams that was quite strong or top 3 last season, namely Marseille, Marcelino García Toral has good vision in situations quite tight transfers, and yes we can see what score Pierre had when he was at Barcelona, he played quite well, before going to Chelsea which made him not so productive.

Marcelino García Toral will probably use his abilities to combine with Alexis Sanchez and Oliviera, or be an alternative to the two players, but I'm pretty sure he will be one of the main players, because Victor Oliveira doesn't have much experience, while we know the clock flew a Pierre Aubameyang.
