Manchester United's striker shortage is not a big problem right now, I think. Rashford can be considered for that area. If they can get Harry Kane it would be a nice extra deal but I can't imagine Tottenham selling him to a competitor. So I think this possibility is slim. But Hojlund will strengthen them, that's for sure.

Rashford isn't so good in the central attacking position, he is better on the left side of attack, and Erik ten hag would know that if he wants to harness the full potential of his best attacker, he'd have to play him in his favorite position.

I almost feel like I should take a bet on Mbappe going to the Saudi Professional League. I can't verify whether this offer really exists and if it exists, whether it is the numbers that are talked about in the media. But if that offer exists and Mbappe is making 700 million in salary plus any other income sources he has that are also fueled by this deal, I would say the odds that he is going to the SPL for a season are like 80:20 or even higher. The deal is too massive because he gains more from it than just the money. A player can thrive for winning the Champions League or the Ballon d’Or, but being this one player who got this gigantic offer and then contract that will make him the best paid player probably for a decade or two decades will also entail other opportunities for him. This player is full of marketing value already and it would explode even more afterwards. Numbers are catchy and his name will benefit from it. This is a tough decision when we assume that Mbappe suffers from not winning important titles in club soccer. But in every other regard I doubt that Mbappe is suffering or having a headache right now.

- his career as a football player will end in the arab league because the competition there is not so tight.
- its selling value will drop.
- he will be difficult to enter the core squad of the French national team.
- he will never get the UCL Fifa trophy.

what mbappe has to think about is getting into a club that can give him the UCL title because that's the only ambition that mbappe has not yet achieved, real madrid and man utd (the issue is man utd is also interested in mbappe) is a good choice but I doubt mbappe is interested in moving to man utd.

Manchester United have spent a huge amout of money so far indeed. They did it for even average level players I mean. But they are newly able to pull themselves together thanks to Erik ten Hag. There was some good progress in the previous season. However the expectation will be bigger this season. A title challenge will be expected. Mount and Onana are the only transfers so far. In addition to that they will most probably sign a striker as well. For now it is likely to be Hojlund.

After all these transfers they need to be able to fight for a bigger cause in the EPL. It isn't impossible to bring back their old days even if it is tough on one hand.
