I'm curious which players Liverpool would like to bring into the team to take on Manchester City. To be honest I don't think Liverpool will be competitive next season. City will most likely dominate the league again even without great newcomers.

City will be big favourites for sure, they are losing Walker, Gundogan, Mahrez though. Bernardo Silva wants to leave too and De Bruyne is nearly 33. Maybe they peaked last season and will begin a small decline. It might not be enough to lose the title but other teams may get closer.

Regarding Liverpool, Henderson and Fabinho are leaving soon, both going to Saudi Arabia. I think a defensive midfielder will come in when they finally leave. World Cup winning midfielder Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai are already here, they will improve the midfield.

When Jurgen Klopp speaks so confidently then we will see next season. I am optimistic that Jurgen Klopp's character is still viable and will add a lot to the jumble in the main squad. The midfield was one of the jobs they had to complete before the season started, and they've done that. With these 2 attacking players joining, I feel that we will see a change in Liverpool next season. One by one they are finishing what they have to finish, I'm sure Klopp has realized it since last season, and his movements in the transfer market are like listening to what the fans are talking about seeing what they experienced last season.
We don't know the results yet, but they have shown positive signals.

Liverpool may have performed badly last season but the fact is that at the end of the season they shot quickly even though they had to finish in the top 5. In my opinion, with their seriousness to rise, next season the potential will be much greater. Liverpool is a tough team and can easily rise to the surface compared to other clubs who have to work hard to overhaul the squad. Liverpool just needs to continue their positive trend and I'm sure they can still surprise Man City though. As the biggest club in the Premier League, everyone has many unexpected things to prepare for next season. First of all, I think selling Bernardo Silva is probably not the best idea for Manchester City. I believe when a player has good chemistry with the squad, he should not be replaced with anyone else. He is also only 28 years of age. This is basically the prime years of his career. So I don’t think it is actually going to make sense for Manchester City to sell him right now.

I also think that £87 million is probably a little less for a player like him. This is a time when any player who even has a little bit of potential goals for more than a hundred million. So I don’t think reaching around a hundred is actually a bad idea. But putting 100 million tag on a player also means that it is going to be very hard for other clubs to get him. And so I guess Manchester City are actually willing to sell him if they get the price that they want. What do you guys think?

Well I don't think Liverpool's signings this summer will have what it takes to matche on Manchester City next season when they face them but the Liverpool manager can work on his team to get their form back to normal because they appeared better than what we saw last season in their previous seasons and seeing the number of players that have left Manchester city right now is another thing to hold on to because those players understands the pattern of Pep I believe the new players will take some time to adapt to the attacking pattern of Manchester city then kloop can capitalize on that opportunity to beat the city team when they play.

I doubt if city will dominate the league this summer considering the recent development in the Arsenal team, they have done a couple of good signing too Rice and other I believe they will be very much in competition with City likewise Manchester United.
