Harry Maguire's contract with Manchester United is a very lucrative one that's made the England international one of the highest paid defenders in the world and if for any reason the club deems his services as surplus to requirements, they must have to compensate him since he still has few more years left in his contract with the club and Manchester United's refusal to compensate him appropriately was one of the reasons behind the players failed move to West Ham.

Honestly, I never thought that Maguire would cancel this deal, even though West Ham and Manchester United had agreed on the agreed price. But yes, seeing this condition, it seems that he really wants to return to playing with Manchester United, but the problem in my opinion is whether he will be able to withstand all the ridicule from Manchester United fans? as we know he has no place there and there are already a lot of Manchester United fans who want him to leave. Im aware of this and the decision was up to laporte itself. There was no latest report regarding his final decision. It's likely that if laporte may reject it. I would not mind it as he is still trying even harder to play in the english premier league.

Khephren Thuram, this guy didn't even play good in Nice and he can't compete against France's midfielders e.g. Camavinga, Griezmann and Tchouameni.

Ryan Gravenberch, seems unlikely Bayern Munich want to let him go because he's young and talented.

Manu Kone, good enough but he's currently injured.

Cheick Doucoure, good option but Liverpool need to spend quite large amount to sign him since he's from competitor.
