No wonder we don't see this type of wonderful players again, transfers and agents is now more of political and lobbying and that's why we have a player like Maguire still rated on Manchester United.

In current Era of football only few still choose clubs over money and the club with the highest number of players in such categories is Barcelona while in regard to Chelsea I don't know what to say about them. Players like Drogba, Zidane, Kaka and Ronaldinho will also face big money moves just as we have seen recently with Mbappe, Oshimen, Messi and Ronaldo but in the end it will only boils down to were the bidding is coming from and individual reasons.

I think the previous signing of Moise Caicedo was the biggest failure for Chelsea because the player who was priced at more than 100 million euros could not contribute for half a season with Chelsea and it is possible that this player will be projected to be a starter to replace him. There is no information regarding the costs and contracts that apply to Pape Daouda Diong at Chelsea and what is clear is that the costs are not cheap. Well, hopefully this time Pape Daouda Diong can give the Stamford Bridge public the expectations they deserve.

All he needs has to be some good level of consistentcy so he can bounce back. I think you don't pay much attention to Caicedo and maybe I don't mind if you disagree with me. As we know during this half season with Chelsea, I think he is a defensive midfielder who failed because he often made mistakes and conceded goals. Not just once or twice, but he did it repeatedly and it was quite detrimental to Chelsea. For more details, you can see the complete notes in the image above.

Even in his 20 appearances with Chelsea there is nothing he can be proud of other than getting a total of 5 yellow cards in active competitions and in terms of goals or assists he is also unable to do so. Well, I understand goals are not a priority for a defensive midfielder but at least he can contribute through assists. Just compare it with Rodri (Manchester City), even at a cheaper cost, he plays an active role in the defensive midfielder position at Manchester City and he also often contributes fully with goals and assists for important wins. I think that's enough and maybe Caicedo is the most overrated midfielder in the EPL and it was a failed purchase for Chelsea.

Chelsea used to have experienced players and their results were chaotic and nothing will change if they bring additional players in the team.

Still under contract it is impossible for Pep Guardiola to make the decision to leave because in the contract clause there are a number of agreements that have been agreed. Unless Man City fired him because he failed to bring Man City to compete with other teams, that is another matter that the club might see as no longer needed. For everything a club does, they must have seen prospects in it, if not they won’t want to embark on a project that is going to fail them later. Chelsea knows that they need a striker not but maybe the options they have now looks sooting to them than signing a new big striker to the team. About signing of young players, it is good for the team and most teams that have been using that method have benefited greatly from it so I encourage them to also look into that and invest in young players for the future of the club.

I must say that I cannot understand why some teams transfer 33-34 year old players. Chelsea's transfer strategy is very good. Once you have the Wonderkids, success will come gradually. It's only unfair to compare how football was viewed back then to how it's viewed now. Football was a passionate sport and every player in a team had strong passion for the team which in turn fueled the impact made in the team as well. But at this point, the revolution of football has gradually occurred.Now the sports is all about the earnings, it's not wrong though but one can't just help it. Now a player opts for the highest bidding club.

I don't think Bayer Munich will sell Matthijs de Light, he is the main player in Bayern Munich. It is impossible that Bayern Munich will lose one of their great defenders, they need de Light because they will play harder matches in the second half of the season. Although they plan to sign Varane, no guarantee to sign Varane successfully because I heard a rumor that Real Madrid may negotiate with Man United to sign Varane, too. We also don't know whether Varane could play better than de Light in Bayern Munich. Another thing, it is true that Varane is no longer young player. It is better to keep de Light than signing Varane, right?  

If Arsenal has a lot of money, it is not a problem to sign new defenders and attackers. Although Timber will recover and he will return soon, Arsenal still needs a new defender to ensure their squad depth.

At the end of this, I assumed that if Arsenal signed Matthijs de Ligt from Bayern Munich so I think there would be no better defense than Arsenal in English Premier League competition because 24-year-old Matthijs de Ligt is one of the best center-backs, and he has such a good mentality to understand other defenders and stop the attack. Wanting to sell another defender when they haven't replaced Benjamin Pavard already? What's the plan of Bayern Munich honestly? I don't understand.
Though I've seen that they have plans to sign Rapheal Varane. This is a player committed towards staying with Manchester United I don't know what Thomas Tuchel wants. Varane already aged and I don't think he'll give them the hundred percent they'll be wanting from him.

For Arsenal, they shouldn't make mistake with chase of much defenders, they need a central forward amd that's Ivan Toney. Why invest to get another defender when you'll be seeing Timber return?

If Arsenal can succeed to sign a world class defender like Matthijs de Ligt, then it'll be a great addition to the current squad and would further increase their chances of winning an English Premier League title at the end of the season. Right from his days at Ajax before he was transferred to Juventus and now Bayern Munich, de Ligt is one defender that possesses the leadership qualities of marshaling out the defense line of any team he's playing in abd if he can be convinced to come to.the Emirates stadium, then it'll surely be a great signing for them.

That being said, I think it'll not be easy for such deal to go through as Bayern Munich are currently in need of defenders. Benjamin Pavard is currently injured and that's why the club wouldn't want to release de Ligt

Hojbjerg is said to be a target for Juventus. They would really make use of strengthening their midfield these days. Because Pogba is still absent due to the same reason. I don't have any expectation left from him anymore. Juventus must also be wishing to get rid of him as soon as possible. Filling his place in the team with an active decent player would be great for Juventus.

Hojbjerg is a really good midfielder. If they don't have anyone better on their radar I think they should go for him. Their cost wouldn't be too high for Juventus I assume. His current contract ends in less than two years. Maybe he would also like some new adventure.
