Eric Bailly has had his contract terminated by Besiktas. Eric Bailly spent 7 unimpressive years at Man United before leaving the club in the summer. That's right, the salary reason makes De Gea and Man United not reach an agreement, I think De Gea is also very suitable if he moves to Newcastle. Considering that we're playing above expectations and are on top of the PL, I wonder whether we're looking at some defensive additions in January.
Matip is out, Gomez has been inconsistent at best, Quansah is still too young and has played just a handful of games and we're still without Robertson.

We're one injury from a defensive nightmare, and we have to invest there in the summer anyway. I know it's hard to do good business in January, but I'd prefer that we at least give it a try.

I think I've said this too much here and it gladdens me to see someone here with the same view as mine. Not a Liverpool fan bit I know how much they'll be needing a new defender.
