I have heard benzema linked to the manchester united but the latest update suggests that if MU has been denying such rumor. I would like to see mu to have benzema who played as a striker instead of hojlund. There must be a new striker to create the competition that can push the performance from player to be better. Hojlund was the only striker available on manchester united. Rashford can play as a striker bue he was not to play in that position. Hojlund will become starting line up till the end of season.

At this moment it is hard to know what mbappe is actually going to do. I think even he is actually confused. At 1 side he is getting great money from PSG. And at the same time, PSG is also very interested in keeping him in the squad. But he wants to leave. But he also likes the money. Manchester United must be forgetting they have a blunt attack and nothing so far to rejuvenate and ignite that attacking lineup. So far for myself, Garnacho seems to be the only one ready to play and at the main time propel the attacking plans of Erik Ten Hag. I don't blame Marcus Rashford anymore, he is in a level he should be matured enough to take responsibility. For Antonio Martial, he'll remain until the end of the season, though I'm aware he's currently Injured.

With Rapheal Varane and Lisandro Martinez back from Injury, best believe Andrea Onana will be well charged up with em positively. A good defense does complement a goalkeeper and it'll be so next week.

Yes, unlike usual, in this transfer market almost all clubs have minimal movement, was this their plan from the start? I mean are they not interested in recruiting new players or will they make a move when the transfer market closes?
Maybe for a club that is currently at the top like Liverpool, they don't make many moves which is also something that is normal because overall they already have a strong foundation and also have a squad that has quite good depth. However, for other clubs who are still in a difficult situation, it is quite surprising that they are just staying silent. I noticed that as well. I think it’s because of the Premier League's Sustainability Rules and profits. Clubs are being very careful not to break these rules. We saw how Everton were deducted 10 points in the early part of the season for breaching the rules, while they and Nottingham Forest have been charged recently for the same thing.
FFP is on everybody’s Asses. I think a lot of clubs are just observing and the last thing they want to do is break those rules and potentially be deducted points now that the season has gone far.
But apart from that, we should not forget that the January transfer window is normally pretty quiet every year, a lot of the big business is usually done in the summer.

Manchester United does not need to rush for a back-up striker option because Hojlund's role can still be rotated well with Rashford and of course these two players are quite flexible when Erik Ten Hag places them both according to the team's needs. Maybe they will move in the summer for a new striker because Anthony Martial will officially stay at Manchester United until the end of the season and at the same time he will leave as a free agent.

In fact, Manchester United does not need to buy a new goalkeeper and regarding Onana's poor performance, Erik Ten Hag should be able to reserve him first and give the goalkeeper that they also brought in previously, namely Altay Bayindir, a chance as a starter.
