No, the rumours are not fake. Xabi Alonso was touted by Bayern Munich and Liverpool; and rightly the manager has decided to dismiss the Liverpool interest. He is just having a great statrt to managerial life, Liverpool is a burden too soon for the Bayer coach.

In my opinion, i think Xabi Alonso is better off staying in the Bundesliga either with Bayer or Bayern Munich.

Yes it is a big risk, but i am pretty sure Alonso has thought it over and weighed all the odds before taking this decision. Xabi Alonso wants to test himself for at least one more season in Bayern Leverkusen, it might not be successful, but it is the same way he could take over at Liverpool or Bayern Munich and fail in his first season or even longer.

Next season Leverkusen are going to play CL football, and they will be the defending champions in the league. Alonso does not have to win a title in his second season, he just has to keep Leverkusen at a good level and also keep himself attractive to the big clubs. If he is a really good manager and this season isn't just a fluke, he is definitely going to join a big club sooner rather than later.

I also read from the same report, namely Fabrizio Romano. he reported several tweets, which suggested that Alonso would stay with Bayer Leverkusen. quote that a few hours ago, Xabi Alonso had a good meeting with Bayer Leverkusen and told them that he will stay and remain at the club. which means Alonso won't be going anywhere next summer, whether it's to Bayern Munich or Liverpool. If this report happens to be legit, then this is a very nice decision made by Alonso, being in haste to leave Bayern Leverkusen after building such a formidable team wouldn't make sense, at least he should spend one or two more seasons with the club because going to another club after the season ends, he would have to start building a team with that new club and this isn't something easy to because you need to master things with the new club, even sometimes it might even take a couple of years before some coaches gets to understand things with their new clubs, and if it happens to be an impatient club like that of Chelsea who don't normally have patient with their manager, he will be sacked almost immediately if there are no results with the team.

Big teams like Bayern or Liverpool certainly apply high standards to their managers, where management will always demand Xabi to provide trophies every season. Xabi certainly understands this well, so staying at Leverkusen for another season or two could give him a better experience. In terms of actual position, I don't think there is a problem for Kimmich because seeing from what happened even though the dispute with Tuchel still happened but in the end he still became one of the players who was never replaced at Bayern because he was a regular for the line up and that means even though there are personal problems but Kimmich and Tuchel remain professional and objective in doing their jobs.

The price of 60 million actually seems quite expensive but it is still quite comparable to the performance given and the age that still allows it to be able to compete in a long contract because currently he is still 29 years old and it is quite mature for a player.

If that's the case, maybe there's no harm in releasing Kimmich for the next season to maintain Bayern Munich condition, which still looks good, rather than having to keep a player who is only forced to compete with a team he doesn't want, which will have a bad impact in the long term.
