Manchester have outstanding players this season. Rasmus Højlund is regarded as one of the best frontline for the team, he is a new striker for Manchester United, moving from Atalanta to join the Red Devils in previous transfer window. Those the Denmark international is currently battling with longterm crucial injuries, he needs more time to exerts actions on his position as top frontline. Erik Ten Hag knows how to handle his squad and he already spot out his important players, these are leading Red Devils that will win all hurdles on their path.
Rasmus Højlund is the best striker that Manchester United has but in my opinion this player is just ordinary and not very active in scoring goals. I think recruiting a new striker to replace Rasmus Højlund is not a problem because in my opinion this player is just ordinary, maybe injury is a factor. affecting him so that he has not been able to perform optimally. Replacing him with a more productive striker could make Manchester United stronger in attack, unlike this season.

In my opinion, Joshua Zirkzee is a better striker than Rasmus Højlund if Manchester United wants to buy him from Bologna. I'm also happy because Manchester United is making a change in players so that next season they can perform better. Relying on the current players doesn't seem to be completely expected because of their performance Manchester United this season has not been completely consistent so Manchester United must do something for next season.

But Manchester United don't just think about recruiting a striker, they also have to think about improving their back line because it's useless if they have a good front line but Manchester United's back line is still bad so Manchester United often concede goals like this season they conceded a lot of goals so they haven't creates a goal difference between the goals he creates and the goals conceded.

Why Manchester United need to change their striker again? Hojlund already filled this position, the problem arise if he's injured, Manchester United don't have any good player that can replace him. Zirkzee might join Manchester United sooner or later, as long as Ten Hag is still the manager because this manager always want to sign Netherlands players.

Probably Bologna will demand at least 50 Million Euros to Manchester United, but I think it could be 60-70 Million Euros considering he's still young.

They don't need to change their striker. You got me wrong. Hojlund will stay of course. I'm talking about Martial. I believe it is the best for Manchester United to part ways with him while he can't make a good level of contribution to the team due to various seasons. If he was a more consistent player he would be really useful now.

If Erik ten Hag stays as the manager for the Red Devils next season as well then I hope he can make the needed transfers for specific positions to get stronger before new season. They need to improve in defense and offense lines both considering the statistics.  Sad

Well, this is also what I think, compared to thinking about the front line, I think they should pay more attention to the back line, yes, although looking at both is definitely better. However, for now, the position that they have to really pay attention to, in my opinion, is that the back line is still far from consistent. They just need to make some small changes in the front line I think the results will be better, but when looking at the back line, they have more work than other positions.
Erik Ten Hag will most likely stay with Manchester United next season, because until now I have not heard anything that threatens Erik Ten Hag's position by management, although not all Manchester United supporters expect Erik Ten Hag to be their coach.

His contract with Real Madrid will expire in June, 2024. I heard a rumor, Ancelotti offers him to be apart of Real Madrid coaching staff. If Modric decides to retire in the end of this season, he can accept the offer made by Ancelotti. But if Modric still wants to continue his career as a professional player. Modric must leave Real Madrid since there is no contract extension. There are a rumor of the interest from Saudi teams, they will give Modric a huge salary of Modric wants to play in SPL. Now, it depends on what the decision wants to make by Modric.
Continuing his career in the Saudi pro league if he does get an offer and still wants to play is a good choice not because the salary is bigger but he might still get a place in the starting XI at the club even though he is no longer young.
But of course it is not easy to move to SPL because there are many things that have to be adjusted, including the weather because the weather in Europe and Saudi Arabia is very different which might make him not very comfortable.

But for some reason I see him as a player who really loves Real Madrid, so if there really isn't a contract extension, maybe there will be, considering that Real Madrid has extended Toni Kroos' contract for another season, so there's an opportunity for Modric to become the coaching staff it could be his decision later.

I don't think the departure of Modric won't give a serious impact. There are already enough top midfielders to replace Modric's role. Camavinga, Tchouameni, Bellingham, and Valverde are some players who have the same position as Modric. And we must realize that Modric is getting rarely to play full time recently. It indicates that Real Madrid no longer too depends on Modric anymore.

Obviously, there is no point in renewing the contract with a 38-year-old football player, perhaps it will be posible if he wants to play another season in the team, but you are right, the competition in such a team is too high, and it will be more difficult for him in the next years. Any decision will be good for him, if he goes to Saudi Arabia, he will be able to earn very good money, if he stays to work in Real Madrid, he will stay with his favorite club, which is perhaps even better.

Hojlund performance is still unstable and still cannot be used as a benchmark that he can boost Manchester United current attack line . In the previous few matches he did play very well where he always scored goals in the matches he did its just that when he was playing positively he actually got an injury problem that made him currently have to re-adapt to his game problems.

At the moment if it is possible i don't think its a problem to bring in a new striker but if they really want to look at other situations it seems like instead of for attacking problems they should also try to prioritize bringing in the defense because the current players arent really able to be optimal and bring in some players last season like Amrabat in the end it was just a waste of money and should be taken into consideration now when looking for players then they must really see whether the player fits or not with their style of play so as not to waste their money but the players brought in cannot contribute well.

Anthony Martial wants to stay at Manchester United until the summer and is not interested in a move away from Old Trafford this month.
Martial has rejected interest from Marseille, Fenerbahce and the Saudi Arabian Premier League and intends to stay and fight for his place in Erik ten Hag's team.
Source: https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11667/13045223/anthony-martial-man-utd-forward-determined-to-see-out-remainder-of-old-trafford-contract

Martial is one of those futures who haven’t shined yet. He has got enough chances with Manchester United in the previous seasons but I feel like he needs more playing time. He is still a young player who has potential.

@Velvet78, so I agree with you, he needs to join a club where he can get more game time. But if his performance was up to the mark, I don't think he would have had to battle for the starting position in the first place. Højlund is better than current Martial and I don’t think anyone can argue about that.

Martial should join a club where he can get chances even if his performances are not up to the mark. Manchester United is too big of a club to keep giving him chances. But I think there would be many clubs who would be willing to take him on loan or sign him.

Anthony Martial need not more playing time at United anymore because considering his impact to the club since his signing in 2015 is nothing to show for rather than always being benched due to series of injury and even in the matches he was featured, he doesn't put in more efforts for his team.

How can he get more playing time when he is always involved in injury most of the time and nothing kills a players career to always having injuries and doesn't appear in most matches.

Talking about joining a club where he can get more playing time is still the same way at United, because this is literally a player that falls to injury easily or isn't it a player that is fit that would be given more playing time? To the best of my knowledge, Martial has already killed his career at united so whether he stays or move in to try at other clubs wouldn't change anything.

Modric's certainty is still unclear but it is likely that he will leave the Madrid squad even though his fate will be where we still cannot predict it because there is no situation that can really be ascertained that Modric's next destination after he leaves Madrid.
However, it will not be a big problem because Ancelotti's rotation in the last 2 seasons has functioned to keep the squad good despite Modric's departure.

In the end, it will have an impact because Modric is one of the cogs of Madrid's attack but on the other hand, they can be fine and I am sure of that because Madrid's young players are currently very good in terms of play and they can be relied on to support the midfield to be even better. Jude's position could be flexible but I think the trio of Camavinga, Tchouameni and Valverde is still a very good option.

Modric leaving wont hurt Real Madrid. Their team is too strong. He's a great player. Though faint, it will leave a mark. Talent loss always has repercussions.

Those Ancelotti rumors may be true. Its possible Modric has a natural coaching instinct. Many top midfielders do. He reads the game like no one else, which is invaluable for a coach.

See what happens. Retirement? Another team? Folks, Im unaware. I know that until his contract expires, he's Real Madrid, and they'll want to keep him. Wait and see what they decide.

Neymar is looking to leave Saudi Arabia and has told players at former club Santos that he will be back in Brazil by 2025, a report has claimed.
https://www.90min.com/posts/neymar-already-eyeing-up-exit-from-saudi-arabia-after-only-five-games-report
According to the report, if Neymar returns to his old club, he will likely play and retire in Brazil. I don't want to see the expensive players recruited by the Saudi Pro League will leave the league again but it seems like that there will none can prevent neymar to leave soon. It has proven that Saudi Arabia's strategy of purchasing so many expensive players was completely incorrect in this case.

It is also destroying the reputation of the Saudi Professional League. IMO, Neymar would never consider the Saudi Pro League as a good place to play. He was unable to adapt to Saudi culture, and it was finally time for Saudi to face the consequences of spending so much money without even conducting an audit to determine whether its plan had a good chance of success or would become another flop. Neymar will go to Brazil, and no one can stop him. It is only a matter of time before Saudi Arabia's plans to buy a large number of expensive players are reversed. The primary goal is to be one of the candidates for the World Cup.

There is no reason for the Saudi Professional League to extend its contract again. SPL once fought against losing its dream. Neymar will leave the SPL, leaving only Ronaldo and a few European players. They may return to the European competition in the future.

Well, that's right, usually a midfielder has the instinct to be able to read the game better from other positions, that doesn't mean that players in other positions are not good, but I mean when a midfielder usually they have to organize the game and that is an advantage for them, especially Modric is a box to box type midfielder, in my opinion it is worth trying.

When Ancelotti makes an offer like that, it means he also has an instinct that Modric can develop his abilities as a coach. and we also see a lot of new trainers appearing because of recommendations from trainers who have handled them. In my opinion, apart from Modric, Kross also has great potential to become a coach in the future. But now he is still actively playing and we don't know how long he will play. He also has a football academy, and I think that shows that Kross is interested in becoming a coach, but we'll see, especially now that he's still actively playing.

Previously, Joao Neves was rumored to be close to several big EPL teams in the summer, but it seems that the competition will be much more heated after Liverpool will join in signing this player from Portugal. Manchester United, Chelsea and most recently Liverpool will be elbowing each other in order to obtain the services of this 19 year old player and his contribution to the game is clearly very good when playing for Benfica and Portugal this season.

But the transfer is likely to experience difficulties because Joao Neves has a release clause of 102 million euros and for a young player I think this is too expensive. But if it's for Chelsea, it doesn't seem like they will mind because we know they always shop for players without looking at transfer fees. On the other hand, for Manchester United or Liverpool I think they will consider taking this player from Benfica because the cost is too big. The last time Liverpool bought a player from Benfica was when they signed Darwin Nunez in 2022 at a cost of around 85 million euros.

In your opinion, is Joao Neves worth that amount of money? and who is likely to get the contract?

Modric leaving wont hurt Real Madrid. Their team is too strong. He's a great player. Though faint, it will leave a mark. Talent loss always has repercussions.

Those Ancelotti rumors may be true. Its possible Modric has a natural coaching instinct. Many top midfielders do. He reads the game like no one else, which is invaluable for a coach.

See what happens. Retirement? Another team? Folks, Im unaware. I know that until his contract expires, he's Real Madrid, and they'll want to keep him. Wait and see what they decide.

Modric is indeed a great player. His body is not as good as the players in Europe, but he has advantages in handling the ball and with accurate passes.
Modric really understands the game requested by Ancelotti. he has played for Madrid for quite a long time. and his departure will still make his name great in the eyes of fans.
Now he is 38 years old, he plays for Madrid and the Croatian national team. I think he will definitely choose to give a young player to replace him. If he retired now, Modric would also have to be proud of his achievements throughout the history of his professional career.

It's too much, his market value only 50 Million Euros, if Benfica ask for 102 Million Euros, it means they will able to earn double than the fair value. There are still many good defensive midfielders out there, age isn't the only reason to sign a player, better to sign matured players from top teams.

Both Manchester United and Liverpool can't afford to spend that much, while Chelsea already spent too much in the last season. Probably he will go to PSG lol, any player with crazy fees is mostly will be signed by PSG.

His age and physical condition no longer support him playing at Real Madrid because Ancelotti has been using more young players to help his team. Modric does have good skills as a midfielder, but his physical ability is no longer capable of playing fully, making Ancelotti have to try to provide opportunities for young players. Modric has helped Real Madrid a lot in winning the title and his name will always be remembered as a Real Madrid legend.

Now there is no certainty regarding his future, whether he will retire or play for another club. Still, if he has no intention of retiring then going to the Saudi Arabian league is a good decision because there are many European players who have played there before.

United's team are generally in  a mess, their players aren't cooperative and coordinating adding to the fact that they're trying to make essential a signing that had this shaky performance. Hojlund has not really imparted United as he ought to as a signed striker. He's failed in doing his job the right way maybe as a result of his poor ability to perform and as well as disagreements and discordination in the team.

Rashford is one player that was actually doing well in previous seasons and he's had huge contributions and impacts to the United squad and he was practically fans favorite and a threat to teams too. But this season hasn't been quite good for him, his playing style changed and he's literally had the worst season. The fans are not encouraged by his performances and they've not been shy to express their disappointment and disgust at him. I don't know and can't tell the source of the problem but he's just got an extra work to do on himself.

He's a striker but has not played as a striker. Hojlund the second striker brought in to assist me has quite had a more favourable play in the UCL than in the EPL but he's also got to improve. The UCL games were shaky for them so he's also got to keep making wave and this time he has to find a way to improve his play and convery goals for himself and the team.

It just seems as though the entire team is in a black out situation right now and it isn't good. They'll be up against Chelsea in a few days and I hope to see the outcome of their game and see all the players out in their best. Safe to say that the both teams are in thesame category so they'd both have same playing tempo, maybe even end up in a draw too.

Luka Modric without doubt is simply one of the best midfielders of his generation and the fact that he was the first player to win the Balon D'or during after Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi started exchanging who wins the award within themselves tells how impactful he's been to Real Madrid, his country's national team anf football in general. His accuracy and precision when he's having the ball at his feet and when he's passing the ball is regarded as one of the best in the history of the game but despite all he's done for his current club Real Madrid, the Croatian superstar is very likely to exit the club at the end of the season.
Luka Modric is currently 38 years of age and for a player of his importance, it'll not be nice to continue to keep him at Real Madrid when he'll be rarely given playing times. Again, Real Madrid have been able to raise footballers that are good enough to succeed him so letting him go will create room for those footballers to live to their full potentials.

Reportedly Chelsea plans to sell two players this summer and those two names are Reece James and Conor Gallagher. It seems that Chelsea is still not satisfied with the current performance of their squad so they want to do this as additional funds to bring in other players in the transfer market later. Actually, I'm quite curious about what kind of players Chelsea want, especially since they spent so much money to bring in several players who were overrated last season.

Apart from that, I think this could be a strategic move for Chelsea where the players do not meet the club's expectations so they have to be sold so as not to burden the club's budget to pay players who are not contributing enough. I think that's quite right, but the problem is if Chelsea brings in the wrong players again then that will be a new problem for this club from London. The talent scout team and club management must work together well because this determines the future of the club and provides bright hopes for the future.

Source: https://twitter.com/DeadlineDayLive/status/1774379599993971141

I think Chelsea are making the wrong move here. You know, Connor Gallagher and Reece James are both youngsters with huge potential.

If I recall correctly, Connor Gallagher with Crystal Palace did an amazing job and secured them a good position in the Premier League when he was there.

On the other hand, Reece James is one of the top right-backs right now in the world I would say. The problem is that he is very injury-prone. He gets injured very often and cannot make appearances in the game. If they decide to sell him, I would say many teams are going to pay a good amount of price just to get him on their team. He is one for the future.

Same for Connor Gallagher, he is too good to be sold. Ever since the Chelsea owner has changed, the new owner has been making too many mistakes. I think this mistake would cost him as well in the future.

It seems like Frimpong is on the radar of multiple big teams already. I already knew about Bayern Munich's interest but it looks like both Manchester teams are also going after him. Let's say all of them made an offer then I think his choice would be between Manchester City and Bayern Munich. Why would it be the Red Devils, right? They aren't even qualifying for the Champions League as it seems.  Sad

Leverkusen would make a really huge profit if they sell him. But maybe he would also think of staying one more year while he has a great manager like Xabi Alonso. It wouldn't make me surprised as they are going to play in the Champions League as well.  Smiley

They should sell if players like Marcus Rashford ( He's shown no passion while playing for the club lately. ) Can he go take a look at how Luiz Diaz displays for Liverpool? He seems to have forget when to pass, track back, defend and also make two touch with the ball, him hanging on the ball for too long six to seven touches makes it he'll boring.
Rashford has always been a problem, not only is he selfish he has also started not showing seriousness in playing and even finds it difficult to build teamwork. Against Brentford it was very clear that Rashford only wanted to pass to Bruno and vice versa. So who knows what Rashford problems at Man United are becoming increasingly difficult to control. Erik Ten Hag still gives him confidence to this day, PSG is rumored to be planning to sign Rashford and I don't think Manchester United will just let him go.

It is true that recently Madrid have started trying to build a game without Modric and it makes sense that what Ancelotti wants to implement is still very much in progress so that when Modric retires, stability can still be maintained. I am also sure that with Madrid young players they are trying to cover Modric position and can be said to be successful. Regarding his future, we would like Modric to be part of the staff because it would be quite helpful for Ancelotti to train his players. But if the decision goes to SPL, everything will still be fine. Unlike Kross, who extended his contract for one more season with Madrid, it's a shame that these two Madrid legends had to part ways.

I agree with what you said, in my opinion moving to the Saudi Pro League is a good opportunity before deciding to retire, there Modric can get a large salary and luxurious facilities like other former top European players. Modric track record with Real Madrid is very impressive, especially with the number of trophies he has presented for the club, he is the second generation of Los Galacticos. He has won various awards while strengthening Real Madrid, with increasing age and increasingly fierce competition in midfield, it is time for Modric to take a new path in his career.

Ancelotti and everyone at the club certainly want Modric to stay longer, but that is contrary to the club long-term goal of wanting generational renewal to be able to compete in every competition. Since joining in 2012, Modric has become an important player in Real Madrid main lineup. Modric has worked with a number of coaches who have managed Real Madrid, and he has always been a player they have relied on over the years. The increasing age factor means that Modric and Real Madrid management have to make a decision regarding his future next season. Many people will miss him, and Modric has become one of Real Madrid living legends.

I think this mistake would cost him as well in the future.

i agree and disagree with you on this, for Connor Gallagher it will be a huge step back and a costly mistake to actually sell him, last summer they had him on the sell list but with what they have seen him done this season it will be a very big call to still want him out except that he doesn't wants to sign a new contract and he go be for free later and they might loss on him. But aside that i think he needs to stay over just any player.

As for Reece James, i think he needs to go. The lad might have a great potential but it is certainly not working for him at Chelsea at the moment and with Chelsea keeping him they definitely can't add another right back to partner Malo Gutso. We have seen in the past with other players who switch clubs and things get right for them, Maybe he could be lucky but seriously its time Chelsea bank on him
