Yes, you are right, they (Bayern Munich) have a good financial situation, so I don't see them selling players just for the money they get. On the other hand, they can buy players at very high prices given their current financial capabilities.

I don't think Lucas Paquetá is typical of midfielder for Pep Guardiola scheme exactly West Ham will give most higher fees transfers, currently Manchester City has many talented midfielder as holding or attacking and I don't sure Lucas Paquetá will easily get regular position if reach agreement for joining with Manchester City. I don't see any linked or rumor with Manchester City interested for signing Lucas Paquetá and seems Pep Guardiola keeps focus for the end of this season by winning Premier League before preparing teams on next season and make some players list to recruit.

Lucas Paqueta without doubt is a good midfielder that can do well in any of the top clubs in Europe but I doubt if he's the kind of midfielder Manchester City will want to sign at the moment. If the Brazilian really wants to go to a bigger club than his current club West Ham, I think there are other better options where he can go to and get more playing time than what he'll get at Manchester City where the competition is very high.
Pep Guardiola is one manager that will always bring out the best from a player he likes so if for any reason he likes and wants to work with Lucas Paqueta succeeding at Manchester City, that's the only factor that can help the Brazilian succeed at the club

It seems like that moyes tried to do like when he was selling rice. The money raised from selling paqueta is gonna be used in rebuilding the club to be even better. This what moyes did when he got a lot of money after selling rice last season.

Because they're clearly doing well financially, their moves seem much more planned. They also couldnt let Musiala leave. They know that kid is special because he's the future of that club.
