That's the problem. De Gea expected a Man United-level salary from a lesser club. It's nonsense to hear De Gea was still waiting for a big-money offer like he had at Manchester United. Also, he hasn't played in a year and is 33 years old. Basically, De Gea has finished at the top level.

I guess he's not really prioritizing game play time but money, which is understandable IMO. Casemiro has to go, although he has been of on the top performers in Manchester United since joining them. But he is already getting old and he has been having injury problems lately, It won't be a difficult decision for Ten Hag to make. Manchester United midfield need a fresh leg, and if I am to choose between Scott McTominay and Casemiro I will choose McTominay and let let Casemiro go. But if Manchester United can afford to bring in two new midfielders to replace Casemiro and McTominay it will be good. Manuel Ugarte link with Manchester united is not a rumor despite the deal is yet to be completed. Athletes are only productive when they get a contract at a club, by him not wanting to get or sign a contract, De Gea is wasting his life, imagine him being like this until he is 38, is he even getting the same value as Genoa is offering? i'm not sure.
