The young lad was once regarded as one of the best talents in Europe but since Ruben Amorim arrived at the club, he's not be getting much playing time to prove his worth so leaving on loan in January will be better. It is quite reasonable if Kobbie Mainoo has been feeling depressed all this time, because in Amorim's eyes, Kobbie Mainoo doesn't seem to have any role, while he really needs playing time so that he can have a chance to join the England national team at the World Cup later.
