Now is this new season true because I have seen a lot of people question this news in the comment section of this tweet. We have heard a lot of things about Arne Slot recently. A lot of things were being said on social media. People were even saying that he only has a certain amount of time to save his job. But I didn't think this would be so sudden and quick. I will say that this decision makes sense because of the performances of Liverpool. But I'm honestly confused because of people saying this might not be legit so does anyone have any concrete evidence of what actually happened?

And this is definitely a very bold decision taken by Slot, as he himself has his job under scrutiny. Honestly, Salah has definitely proved himself a lot of times for Liverpool. Slot won't stay in Liverpool past this month. He will be fired. There is too much pressure on the club to deliver, and they need a manager who can deliver. This is not the kind of situation you give the manager time. There is no improvement whatsoever to hope for; in fact, the team keeps getting worse.
Liverpool and Slot have no excuse to be this bad because they have good players. He has good midfielders, and he bought good defenders too. The same thing with the attack. The only thing he lacks in attack is a good LW.

Well let's not get too excited yet, I mean who knows what might follow in his arrival, I mean Liverpool is a big team and with the current situation of the club alot of tension would be placed on him and I don't see Steven Gerard being in charge of any big club to have such confidence although some players tend to do well with clubs that face this sort of situation.

This news could also be legit because after watching the interview of Mohamed Salah and how he expressed his disappointment with the way the coach has decided to keep him in the bench you could understand that the coach days are numbered, Salah doesn't have a good relationship with the coach as it stands and as one of the best players of the Liverpool team if you are not in a good relationship with the manager it's also going to affect the performance of the other play players. Arne Slot took over as the Liverpool coach when the team is very strong but now he has more good players he can't make use of them to get good results instead he is keeping his best player in the bench thinking he's going to get good results which he's not getting, Steven Gerrard  could be replacing him anytime because he is not getting the best result they want.

I'm not criticizing, it's a genuine question because I'm thinking about and I really struggle to find a single Vinicius' skill better than Mbappé's. I mean, technically, physically and mentally, Mbappé is always better. In as far as i actually understand and also stand by your idea of not having immediate past players or legends of the clubs to manage the club because most of the time emotions cloud their decisions and this affects the club in the long, been a great player during your playing days doesn’t means you will transition into a great coach again both are different but still this doesn’t mean we haven’t had their likes who took their respective clubs to greatness. A clear example is Zidane who many kicked against his appointment because he lacked top flight managerial experience but he took the job and made history not at the club but overall because he won three straight champions league something that hasn’t been done before.

I don't know how Liverpool could have reached the conclusion where they are open to listening to offers for Konate, I mean amidst the current decline in performance. If Liverpool lets Konate leave, whether to Madrid or another club, I think they will struggle to find an adequate replacement. Players targeted by Liverpool will think twice about joining if the team's performance is declining.

If Konate joins Madrid, he might succeed in rediscovering his best form. Xabi Alonso seems keen to ensure they don't lack rotation options at the centre-back position this season, where last season they experienced a crisis due to injuries.

I'm surprised that Liverpool wants to consider the offer for €15m. Konate current market value is around €55m, his transfer fees should be around €50m - €60m at least. His contract still lasts until June, 2026. S0, Liverpool actually doesn't need to rush selling him.

The current problem for Liverpool for me is not from the attack (although currently blunt) but how they fix the defense which is currently less comfortable for them.

Yes I agree with you on that, Liverpool's defense line is there problem not the attack, its clear they are finding it difficult creating and converting the little created to goals but its as a result of they channeling all attentions on the defense to prevent goals which then gives opponents they chances to penetrate there weak defense to force them concede unexpected goals. If only Arne slot could work on his defensive deficiency, there will be relief for the middle so the attack could concentrate more in chance creations and conversion.

Their attack has been problematic as Ekitike, Isak and even some of the new signings like Wirtz have not been in good form this season and even Salah, who has always been the most reliable player in recent years, is having problems with his goal-scoring instincts.
But in the end I think it can still be fixed and Slot just has to try to improve their mentality in scoring instincts which until now Slot has not been able to do (a little unfortunate).

I was surprised to see him on the bench in the last 3 games although it was long overdue, he's been being way out of it this season and the manager is under a lot of pressure to get results, he's twisting and trying different system to find solution - it's being tough but Salah granting interview and saying something like that to the public is not good for the team. He went out of the line tbh.

The best answer would have been to be patient, improve his game and reclaim his position and not throw the team under the bus.
