There are rumors who replace Xabi when Madrid loses again when they meet the city in the Champions League. Some name pop up, Klopp is most likely will be selected to replace.
Klopp? He already refused in the past and he is not even a manager right now, he took an important role in the Red Bull company where he oversees all the different teams. I really don't think he is going to leave his current job to manage Real Madrid at mid season. After leaving Liverpool Klopp always said he was very stressed and didn't want to manage other teams, so it's very unlikely he would go to Real Madrid, especially this Real Madrid.
I think that if Xabi Alonso is sacked, there will be even more names linked with Real Madrid. Jurgen Klopp certainly deserves to be considered as the next successor, but I share the same view that it is very unlikely the former Liverpool manager will leave his current position. Arbeloa and Zidane are also reportedly being considered as replacements for Xabi Alonso.

Nevertheless, despite the growing speculation, the fact is that Xabi Alonso is still Real Madrid manager at the moment. The match against Manchester City will be a decisive moment for Xabi Alonso future, and it is not impossible that Real Madrid will manage to secure all three points, which would ease the pressure on him.
As far as I know, Zidane should be the next France manager because Deschamps is going to leave the national team after next year's World Cup. It's always been his dream to manage the national team and he's only a few months away from that. Unless Real Madrid agrees to hire him only until the end of the season I don't think we'll see Zidane, once again, managing the Spanish team.

I have no idea about Arbeloa, I don't even know which team he is currently managing but firing Xabi Alonso to hire Arbeloa, I don't think it's a great idea.

Well I never had in mind that Zidane would be out of job that he would consider taking a national team duty, at least not now. Having been out of job for years now I think he would have no better choice than taking up the France national team as soon as it's available. Even though he has a record with real Madrid but why has he not been employed? Anyways, his France national team is not going to be a difficult one for him. He has what it takes and being a real MVP, he would possibly replace Deschamps soon.

Xabi Alonso is really going through a difficult moment of inconsistencies this season and enough improvement is urgently needed to stabilise the team. Even though I know that Zidane would not be a replacement for xabi Alonso at real Madrid. All his managerial duties has been for real Madrid and I don't see Madrid wanting to sign him again. Zidane should not be a one team coach because he feels that real Madrid has the resources to make him look greater than he actually is.

Because he is a manager who has proven his skills already with Leverkusen by breaking records. I wouldn't be happy to see him leaving just yet. He is trying some new things at Real Madrid and for now it doesn't get a good reaction from the players.
As imagined, I knew that if they get humiliated then they are going to consider it, and that means they are not that far away from firing him. This is not the first time Carra has been saying things out of context as an analyst. I wonder how he became one. I guess this is the problem with failed players: they end up striving to be a manager or an analyst, and most of them still fail in that career path as well.

I'm not surprised. A British man and the British media will always have something to say against an African player. This is not the first time, and it wont be the last.

Disclaimer: I'm not saying all Britons are racist, but some wont stop being racist.

Not all pundits where failed players. We have a lot successfully players doing the punditry thing. Wayne Rooney,  Paul Scholes, Ian Wright, Henry and many more. These where also good players during their playing days I wouldn't say they was failed players.

The continuous disrespect from this particular pal is condescending. A whole lot of players and managers do not even rate him so, I don't even see him. Personally, I muted him a long time so as not to see his deranged posts. Sometimes I feel like they do this to get the media buzzing. How can you disrespect such a player who's helped you win two Premier Leagues after 30 years without shit?! Jamie remains a bloody twat!

Klopp had announced a break from football, but I think an offer from Real Madrid could change his mind. Real Madrid is a team that any manager in the world would want to manage. Perhaps he would like to go there and embark on a new adventure. However, first, they need to part ways with Xabi. Real Madrid may have had some bad results recently, but I don't think the management will dismiss the Spanish manager anytime soon. I'm sure they will give him time. But if he is dismissed, Jurgen Klopp could be one of the important candidates.

It's been announced that Militao will be out for four months. His relatives are likely to leave Real Madrid due to these chronic injuries. The Brazilian suffers a long-term injury every year. Real Madrid must replace him with a defender. Perhaps they can take action in the mid-season transfer window, given their recent lack of success. Expectations were high for Xabi, but Real Madrid's results suggest he's slowly failing.

Who will Real Madrid sign this transfer window? There's talk of a potential transfer for Konate from Liverpool. I think Real Madrid will also keep a few alternative options. They have plenty of young players. They could sign a promising young center-back.
Militao has been suffered two major injury knee. Why don't they sell him when he's fit, and exchange it for quality defender who's not injury prone? At this point i say their board is so dumb.

As for a potential replacement, i see no clue about that. The recent news suggest Madrid withdraw themselves from signing Konate due to his poor performance. Nevertheless, they truly need new reinforcement in their CB.

As imagined, I knew that if they get humiliated then they are going to consider it, and that means they are not that far away from firing him. Not to be mistaken, they will keep him even if they lose by small margin, but if the league goes away from them and bad results keep coming then firing him isn't that far away.
At this point, he doesn't needs to have a humiliating result for him to get fired, what I think that is needed for him to get fired is losing two or three consecutive games whereby the league title race got a little bit far from their reach, that's when I think that he will be relief of his duty.
But to be honest, I don't think that they are fair with this guy because all managers needs time to implement his playing system and time to pass his ideas across, and considering the fact that he is building a new  and young team is enough reason why he should be given more time, but in most top teams nowadays, you are expected to deliver from the very moment you came into the club or you are show the exit door.

The pressure is harder than ever on Xabi because a loss is a loss and when the score is that big, he could leave prematurely even though the momentum is still there for him at Madrid if he can fix this quickly.

Last week's defeat has made Madrid's top brass react now and it's definitely a wake-up call that Xabi should realize that if things stay the same then he could leave quickly now.
Facing City today will not be easy for Madrid with so many players out injured but on the other hand if they can't make this a good thing then in the end this could actually make things worse and inevitably Xabi now has to rely more on the players he currently has.

Well I think Klopp made a decision already to stay away from football for now, and I know many big clubs in Europe will be looking after him to manage their team, most especially Real Madrid who have been very good with trying to provide competition for Barcelona, well I don’t really know why they will want to sack Alonso now because he is having a bad game, football is always like that and you don’t always have to judge managers immediately because of some few bad results well I know their job is to win games and make their team play more better, I think the rumor of Sacking Alonso now is absolutely false because I don’t see any reason why he should get sacked.

Real Madrid is still backing Xabi Alonso according to the source... Then all those rumours about the problems between him and them are fake or not? I hope he finds a way out of this situation though.

Because he is a manager who has proven his skills already with Leverkusen by breaking records. I wouldn't be happy to see him leaving just yet. He is trying some new things at Real Madrid and for now it doesn't get a good reaction from the players.
Alonso does not seem like a confrontational coach to me. As a player he was quite calm and balanced, and during his time with Bayer and also in Real there were no visible conflicts. It is clear that working with players in Real is much more difficult because, unlike Bayer, there are many star and ambitious players. But despite all the rumors, I see that both on the bench and on the field everything is more or less fine for the team. Real is simply going through some kind of crisis, mainly because of problems with the defenders, and basically the same thing happened with Ancelotti.

Zidane is said to be the second candidate. But first, we need to wait for the game's outcome and find out if the rumors are true. Real Madrid has incredibly high standards, but things aren't so bad at the moment that they need to make hasty decisions.
From the outside, the Real Madrid manager's job now looks like a jackpot - the club literally has everything it needs to dominate for several years in a row, it's just a matter of putting the pieces together to make it happen.
The news has been circulating near and far. It is no longer a rumor after coming from reliable sports pundits. This might be the last game for Xabi Alonso with Real Madrid because I dont see them winning Manchester City tomorrow. They couldn't win Liverpool when Liverpool was on a losing streak, now City is flaming with goals, they are going to devour the Madrid defense tomorrow.

This is one game, I wont ever miss tomorrow.

Besides the defeat to Liverpool, Real Madrid also suffered a major loss to Atlético Madrid, and although that wasn't directly related to the season, they also suffered a 4-0 defeat to PSG. So, Real Madrid's only major win was against Barcelona, a modest result. More is clearly expected from Xabi. Bookmakers see Real as an underdog:

2.98 - 3.85 - 2.24

In my opinion, there is value in betting on Real, as they are clearly undervalued.

Yes, this situation also occurred during Ancelotti's time. Ancelotti couldn't cope with it and was dismissed after achieving unsuccessful results. However, the new manager is facing the same problems. The high number of injuries in the last two years might indicate that Real Madrid needs to re-evaluate their medical staff. Many of their players have been injured, and there are significant problems, especially in the defensive area. They will definitely need to make some transfers in that zone.

Xabi Alonso's situation at Real Madrid isn't just about defeat, but also about how he handles internal pressure, as we know many players are at odds with him. While defeat and inconsistent performances have certainly sparked reactions from various groups, Madrid is experiencing a player crisis and numerous defender injuries, making it difficult for Xabi Alonso to implement his tactics perfectly. Regardless of these reasons, management seems to be starting to react, and that's normal, as Real Madrid always demands the highest standards. Perhaps the match against Manchester City will be decisive for Xabi Alonso's future as Real Madrid manager, as a win might save him from being sacked, and vice versa.

Yes, Xabi current situation can be said to be on the verge of leaving after some unexpected results from his squad, but still can't blame him alone because as you have explained, injury factors and disharmony among the players are the triggers, I still believe he has good abilities in being a coach, if Real Madrid management still trusts him, Xabi must be fully supported by providing new energy in the January transfer window and finding a solution to Xabi relationship with some of his players.

Real Madrid should give Xabi Alonso sometime to prove that he can turn things around by winning a trophy at the end of the season because at this point Real Madrid is having many injuries and that is one of the reasons the team has not been good as we expected, Real Madrid is going to play Manchester City without their best starting players including Mbape that is the main man in the squad currently, Mbape is also a doubt in the match and Alonso will use Valvarde as a right back today because no any right back that is available.

If Alonso did not win today game I will not be surprise because of too much injuries but I will always blame Alonso for the past games that Real Madrid drew and loss because Real Madrid players are still in good condition and he chose to be using different tactics and different players, If he get sacked after the match against Manchester City i will not blame the team because Alonso brought the problem upon himself, Real Madrid should be leading in the league by now but they are behind Barcelona.

I agree with this. Firing Xabi at a time like this is clearly not a good decision; it will only hurt Madrid. Remember, he just joined, and he also needs time with Leverkusen. It took him two years with Leverkusen to win the Bundesliga. I hope the fans are smart. I think Madrid is still making good progress, and I think they still deserve to stay with Xabi. They still have a chance for the league and the Champions League. So it seems the media is just trying to gain readers and increase viewership.

I see nothing wrong in  getting support from management official in regards to the inconsiderate performance displayed by Real Madrid in there last few games but I think Xabi Alonso should work on his tactical game pattern because since he took over power in real Madrid are lot of things has changed which may be the reasonss behind there inconsistent performance in all competition and needs to work on there weakness to see if they can go beyond

Xabi Alonso get huge pressure currently with his position after several bad result in domestic league match and champion league match, today will face Manchester City and its crucial match talking about his future keep stay with Madrid or the management will sack him early before his contract expiring. According several media reported, Madrid have linked with their former manager Zidane if sack Alonso in short moment later but the management still give him moment to proof his capacity bring Madrid to winning perform again.

Alonso already proofing his capacity when success winning Bundesliga trophy but huge difference level competition between La Liga and not easily for the first season make Madrid keep on the top perform, now Alonso have dilemma after leaving Leverkusen if still fail for several matches later with Madrid just waiting moment only before sacking from his position.

I don't want to talk about Jamie Carragher today, a former Liverpool player with a football career that spanned around 17 years, with no EPL trophy to show for. He scored a total of 737 goals for Liverpool, with only 5 goals. He was a medium defender, not a legend at all for Liverpool. Very good at sports analysis, but this time around, he spouted some rubbish from his mouth about Mo Salah

Carragher said on air that “before he came to Liverpool FC, Mo Salah was known as the guy who failed at Chelsea.”  Absolutely dumb statement on live TV,  which proves he has a personal vendetta against Salah.

I am not in total support of how Salah couldn't control his emotions during the press conference, but how does his performance at Chelsea have to do with his legendary act in Liverpool? Was he the only player who was poor in their first career and later found redemption with another club?
The context is important, and who said it is also important. You just know that he said it because he doesn't like Salah so he said it on a very bad light, to diminish Salah and make the ownership look better. Normally, if someone else said it, you could always hear it as "mo salah was a nobody before Liverpool, he came here, worked hard, and helped Liverpool win trophies and titles thanks to his hard work", does that also mean he was a nobody before Liverpool?

Of course it is, because it's true, salah was a nobody before Liverpool, but he came in and worked hard and provided great seasons and won everything to be won with Liverpool, premier league and UCL, last years title was half his alone. So it's clear Jamie said it in a bad way, but it's also true in a good way.

He should have at least one whole season to prove his quality. Working with a new club that has a strange ideology and players you are not used to is not easy. Some coaches might have been fortunate to succeed within one season. Coaches like Zidane and Klopp might not get instant results. Xabi has not been a bad coach in Real Madrid, but the issue is that the Spanish side has a high standard. Today's game is very important for the future of Xabi and I hope he wins this game.  The players would have to drop their past grievances and put in their best.
