I'm not an expert but there is no way Barcelona can repay a €1.5 billion (approx) debt in 2 or 3 years, it means they would have to make at least half billion profit every single year on top of the money they need to cover the expenses such as salaries, transfers, maintenance, etc etc. There is no way they can make it, especially considering that they've already been selling future media rights, a stake in Barça Studios, and even assets in order to have some cash available immediately.
I guess many of you still don't realize the gravity of this situation, Barcelona are in deep shit.

They have got enough avenues to manoeuvre themselves out of financial bottlenecks. They have sold all kinds of intangible goods that make up their overall club value. Now the question is whether they can do that forever, but all the investors who bought shares in their club so to say, would probably raise their voice if they think the club is about to collapse. It is kind of too big too fail.

Remember when Juventus Turin suffered from forced relegation? Many people thought this could get them into deep financial trouble, and yet they are around. I don't even know what a financial collapse would mean for Barcelona, but I agree with you that this talk has been around for almost a decade now and yet they got it fixed again and again. If they were really in trouble, they could still sell Raphinha and Yamal and would be fine again. Yes they wouldn't have those players anymore, but La Masia has been doing a good job to bring them back onto their feet and it would still be a prestigious club.

It's certainly not ideal to compare Lewandowski with Vlahovic because we see their abilities are very different, and Lewandowski is even more productive than Vlahovic. Barcelona are targeting a free agent, but I agree with you because Vlahovic's salary is quite high which would be a bit problematic for Barcelona who are currently experiencing financial problems. I also don't know if this is just a rumor or if Barcelona is actually planning to sign Vlahovic, but if Barcelona is taking this approach, I don't think it's a good decision.

Oh that is a total waste of money and time negotiating this, who even thought of this, this is absolutely crazy if it were to be the Vlahovic at Fiorentina or his first n second season at Juve but this?… this current Vlahovic is not worth it at all Barcelona shouldn’t waste their energy there instead keep Lewy even if he doesn’t get to score according to whatever fuck clause in his signing contract.

Poor management and mismanagement of funds led to this huge debt. Barcelona was broke and got a player that is very expensive to meet up with his bills which has cost the club bankruptcy. It means that the club is only functioning to pay up her debt. Messi pay was very high and Barcelona didn't let him go early.

Regarding financial condition not stable yet and Barcelona has much debt recently I think realistic target by signing Dusan Vlahovic as free agent players due his contract expiring with Juventus at June 2026. Barcelona's won't spent much money to pay fees transfer and good option to sign Dusan Vlahovic although his performance with Juventus not really productive by scoring goals. Season 2025/26, Vlahovic have played 13 matches for Juventus in Serie A and scoring 3 goals without any assist yet not really impressive statistic for the players as central forward position.

Dusan Vlahovic isn't as terrible as you think in his goal productivity because regardless that he scored only 3 goals in 13 Serie A appearances for Juventus, but he also scored 3 goals in 4 Champions League appearances which means he can really be more productive in the Champions League games and of which Barcelona needs such a striker since they are gearing up for a Champions League title and i believe that will be their major priority next season if they win the La Liga and lose the Champions League title this season. His payment isn't as high as you are making it seem, 22.22 million Euros is not so much of a huge amount so he can still fit in Barcelona squad. He might even join Barcelona and start performing better.

I agree with you cause some players don't succeed in a particular environment but once they change to another environment you'll see them excel, would've mentioned some players in that situation but every football lover who follow it up seasonally should know them, with that being said, Vlahovic could go over to Barcelona and become exceptional, take Raphinha as an instance.

 Moreover he'll be going over there to be managed by an experienced coach with winning mentality and play along side players that merit the category of world class, the likes of Yamal, Raphinha, Pedro and co which could help him improve. So, I believe he'll do well and the price is not something that would be very tough for Barcelona to afford so they should go for it.

Then again, other players also fumble and failed to develop any further after moving to a new environment, as talented as they were. At the end of the day, there's no guarantee. If it's cheap and salary isn't high, there's nothing wrong with it. It's about managing risk anyway.

Barca needs an experienced striker like the Serbian. We don't know the content of the deal. Maybe Vlahovic might decide to reduce his salary just to make sure that the deal go through. Barcelona has not fully recovered from financial problems; therefore, they will be careful before making any deal. $424,581 per week will be too much for a striker at his current goal statistics.

As a Juventus supporter, I'm counting down the days for this guy to leave. He has been nothing but a disgrace for the team. The amount of money they paid for him, the enormous salary he gets, and the amount of easy goals he misses every single time, everything is just ridiculous. And on top of that during the last 2 years he refused, on purpose, every single contract renewal offer he received and he also refused to go somewhere else because his plan was to leave the club as a free agent. I don't like him as a player and I don't like him even more as a person. Good luck to Barcelona, this guy brings nothing but problems.

Does Chelsea change their mind over Guehi? I thought they have withdrawn themselves from Guehi saga, but they finally aware they did it wrong. They're joining in the competition to sign Guehi for free. You know how garbage their defense are. So adding Guehi to the squad is most likely solving their problem.

IMO, Guehi is good, but i think they need Thiago Silva type of signing so badly at this moment. However, if they can get Guehi, it's not that bad tough considering they have no proper CB except Fofana and Chalobah who is available. The rest of CB is just trash except Acheampong, which is still in development.

Barcelona has the right wingers and midfielders to do the dirty work, Lewandoski with his age was able to score many goals notwithstanding how difficult it was expected of him to cope with the young players, yet Barcelona enjoyed lots of goals from the striker. If Dusan Vlahovic is ready to tag along other players, i think he would have good seasons at Barcelona.

Dusan Vlahovic may not be the worst striker, but he is nowhere compared to Lewandowski.
