Do i need Bitcoins to claim, or just BTX ?

Please follow the announcement on the OP. We made a snapshot. If you had bitcoins somewhere in the adresse from 0.1 btc on, you can claim your bitcoin for bitcore at bitcore.cc. Just follow the instructions there...

They are hoping to attract users because they have greater capacity to handle transactions than BTC. 20M blocks plus segwit plus 2.5 minute blocks. About 500 tx/s capable rather than 4 tx/s for BTC. We'll see.

What exactly is with the distribution of this coin ? 99.32% is owned by one user ? https://chainz.cryptoid.info/btx/#!rich
Will that be distributed in 6 months and the rest burned or how will this play out ?

After the 6 months, the dev team will keep 10% of the remaining coins and 90% will be distributed to all of the holders.

The claiming period is 6 months. After this period we split the rest to the BTX Holder. 10% from the unclaimed rest is for the BitCore Foundation.
After 6 months-> formula is beta
(your_amout_after_6_months)=((premine_balance*0,9)/(available_amount_total=(BTX_amount_ total./.(premine_balance*0,9))))*your_balance
Example: (304,61 BTX)=((14.400.000)/2.600.000))*55 BTX)
(BTX_amount_ total=17MIO)

God I had the same idea about another Bitcoin called BitCore... I posted that in reddit a few month ago look like I got overtook...

Anyway interested in your project but seriously as a small blocker your 20 MB is just a big NO...

If your coin become widely used it will be centralized as fuck, I would have bought if you were 1 MB settlement system digital Gold philosophy...

Seriously 20 MB blocks, LMAO  Cheesy Roll Eyes Shocked

You just killed any potential with such crazy blocks I know many would have liked 1 MB SW + LN Coin...

Thank you for your message. Bitcore has 10 MB blocks. Included Segwit is 20 MB possible. Bitcoin has later included Segwit 4 MB.

Hi miners, below Bitcore pool could take some more hashing power to keep the block generation fast and stable. Pool wallet is the latest version with SegWit support.

http://neonpool.sytes.net

Pool fee: 1% (Pool pays withdrawal tx fee)
Stratum host: neonpool.sytes.net
Stratum port: 4008
Username: your bitcore wallet address (optionally you can add workers to it: <your-wallet-address>.<your-worker-name>)
Password: some random value

Only people with zero knowledge thinks 10MB blocks centralize the network. Stop listening to core nutcases like LukeJR that thinks that 128k blocks are a good idea.

FOR RENT.
