I'm trying to understand the concept of receiving bitcore/BXT
the next airdrop is july 3rd?
So i need to either do the btc sign verification to get BXT or buy some off an exchange and put it on the qt wallet. (do you receive the BXT instantly? what stops me from doing this, then moving my btc and repeating the process with a new bxt address?)
Next, once i have my bxt on the wallet, i need to make sure it's in the top 1000 bxt richlist wallets to receive an airdrop?
and to increase my value, I can attempt spreading my bxt amongst several addresses within my wallet to get extra airdrop coins?
Lastly, this lasts for 6 months. And at the end, the remaining BXT coins are distributed among all wallets?
I'm trying to make sure I've understood everthing, thanks ahead of time!

Yes, that is correct. Will the airdrops continue to be top 1000 addresses? So as long as we are in the top 1k we dont have to worry ?

I like this distribution model, very smart and original. I lile also Byteball distribution model, but it would make little sense to copy it for Bitcore. It is always good to explore new ways. The idea to engineer the airdrop so that the top 1000 holders will become more and more rich is brilliant, since everybody wants to become rich, so there will be competition which will lead to a rise of prices. However, I think this model can and should be improved. Value of any currency is first of all dependent upon adoption - the more people adopt a currency the more it acquires value. No questions about that. Therefore, in my view the dev should think at a way to motivate also the longer tail of adopters, especially for the time after 11-02-2017 when top 1000 holders will receive the bigest slices of the pie. It's fine to make those lucky 1000 rich - they will be the "oligarchs" of Bitcore. But then, you should also think about creating a "middle class" of people who would benefit, let's say the first 10,000 on the rich list, which would still get something for free. Perhaps X coins from position 1000 to position 2000, Y coins from position 2000 to position 3000, and so on, with decreasing quantities. Otherwise too many people would end up being frustrated to be left out of the party and they would stop trading it and generally caring about it. To expand as much as possible the base of adopters is critical for the success of Bitcore. Whoever agrees with my idea is welcome to tip me with BTXs at my address: 1Lr6sPMjfD2d1s5CGGYkNmmQdzsCzCiL2Q

Can someone enlighten me about my problem with this timetravel&coin regarding mining? Stopped mining it some time ago and now I have the same behavior again.
My fairly straight constant shown hash-rate from ccminer, with 130-150Mhs, ends up as an endless loop of 30Mhs - 110Mhs on pool side. I mean even then when the rest of the pool is at an constant rate.
Can't say that it has any rational relation with current coin difficulty. It looks like supernova pool + ccminer are not optimized and wasting a lot by irrational difficulty jumps Sometimes every minute I get a new difficulty by stratum. My fun 2 card rigs are shown, on pool, at the same time with way higher hashrate than my x4 or x6 rigs. All with 1050Ti(4GB). When I test a new version of the miner everything starts out with expected hash rates and then after >10 minutes it starts to fluctuate.
The only thing I can think of is lowering i way below 20 but that did not change anything at my first trial with this coin. I also tested some GTX 960(2GB) and 750TI(2GB) and also single cards which have the same behavior. Its a little bit strange when a single GTX960(2GB) has an higher hash rate than an x6 rig with GTX1050Ti
Tested it with own builds and also official releases based on tpruvot/ccminer from beta 2.0 upwards (windows and Linux, different drivers,OS, different internet connections etc.)

Has any one have some numbers what there piece of the pie is? Does the foundation also support testing / development for BTX community. The coin does carry there name. Ps. I don’t claim my 10 btx and hope that the Bitcoin foundation will receive them

ill answer these questions for other lazy scumbags such as myself next airdrop is july 3rd you can get it by verifying btc addresses that had btc ON and ONLY on april 23rd during the snapshot. So look back in your old addresses and see what you had back then. The rest is all true, top 1000 addy's get paid + lasts for 6 months

also I see the air drops are quite frequent, it plans to be this way for the next 6 months or so? wanna double confirm what I read
Thanks in advance for replies

According to the block explorer https://chainz.cryptoid.info/btx/#!network there are many kind of nodes, most of them use /BitCore:0.14.1.1/ is there any advantage for the network right now to run (BIP8; UASF-SegWit-BIP149; UASF-SegWit-BIP148) ?

Unless they are providing a SECOND airdrop based on that snapshot. But that doesn't make sense, they would probably take anew snapshot. The top 1000 sure, though this time I am not moving anything. By trying too hard last time I ended up getting nothing

Is there any incentive for bitcoin holders to join if they have missed the first snapshot ?
i had coins in cold storage and would need to transfer them to a hot wallet for signing so they wouldnt be in the same address as they were in on april 23rd unfortunately
