Is there any incentive for bitcoin holders to join if they have missed the first snapshot ?

i had coins in cold storage and would need to transfer them to a hot wallet for signing so they wouldnt be in the same address
as they were in on april 23rd unfortunately

My advise would be to import your private key into a wallet like Electrum, sign the message there and then create a new cold storage / paper wallet for your coins, just to be super safe.

And yes, there are two incentives: you will be able to participate in the weekly airdrops if your BTX balance is in one of the top1000 addresses and will take part automatically in the big "remaining-coin-distribution" in a few months.

I think it's impossible to regenerate an address in electrum with a negative balance from seed words  or paper backups because to get it to a hot Wallet the address changes

Its going to be a very lopsided distribution model if only the people who got the first airdrop get all the subsequent airdrops as well...

I will try to link my wallet to see how this works just found out about the mechanism of free distribution using Bitcoins. I haven't tried before using this kind of method but need to polish my information before jumping on it. Good formula to control abuse and to help anti dumping this way as not everyone can receive free coins.

Yeah, the distribution model might not be perfect. They rarely are. Still, much better than an ICO imo. Also, BTX is pretty cheap, buying a few coins to get a top1000 address will allow you to get much more by taking part in the upcoming drops.

I´ve claimed some BTX, but entered a wrong (non-existing) (BTX-)Payout-Address.
When I want to claim the BTX again, with the right payout address, I get the message that I already have claimed the BTX from this BTC-Address.
Are these BTX lost now?

We works only with one snapshot until 11/2017. The rest is open.

if you have a cold or watch only wallet its unsignable until you send it to a hot wallet
after you do that your btc are in a different address than the snapshot

and any msg you might sign from there is invalid from the snapshot ............

Can you explain to me where "-29.99BTX" came from in the 1st screenshot? It is very important for me to understand why there is a discrepancy between the ACTUAL balance and the statistics site.

the address you have on cryptopia is a DEPOSIT address owned by cryptopia where what you deposit is credited to you.
But as the guy said, your credit on cryptopia is a value in their database. Anything you deposit on exchanges gets withdrawn by the exchanges and put in bigger wallets.
There is no connection therefore between exchange credit you have and balance on deposit addresses.

you can get it by verifying btc addresses that had btc ON and ONLY on april 23rd during the snapshot. So look back in your old addresses and see what you had back then.

The rest is all true, top 1000 addy's get paid + lasts for 6 months

What does the july 3rd airdrop have to do with the bitcoin snapshot?
The bitcoin snapshot airdrop can already be claimed. Unless they are providing a SECOND airdrop based on that snapshot.
But that doesn't make sense, they would probably take anew snapshot.

The top 1000 sure, though this time I am not moving anything. By trying too hard last time I ended up getting nothing
