Hi all, some news:
- A friend of mine is also discussing the possibilities to have devices created for the chips. This raises the probability of having our own devices made in Romania. Of course, i will personally focus on the quality and pricing of these devices. I want them worldwide competitive. More info will come as i have some.

3.) Can I come to Romania for them, I am near country?
4.) How fast you expect then to arrive?

Hi Milan
As per our discussion on the phone, i've noted for the chips. You can confirm the order as your earliest convenience.

Thank you!

[Edit]
To answer everybody else:
- The chip costs 0.083 btc each
- The price for the pcb is not final yet (around 100 eur for a 20 chip pcb)
- Yes, anybody can come to Romania to pick up the chips / pcb
- The chips should arrive on late July / beginning of August. The devices will be done in about 2 weeks after the chips arrive

Regards to all

Hello,

I just had a phonecall with t13hydra, and I am confirming 640 chips for me.
Since I had few bad decisions on mtgox trade market I am stuck now with $ on MtGox, will buy BTC as soon as ot gets below 90 and send to escrow.

I am in for 100~200 chips.  However, before I commit I would like to clarify any additional import fees to have the chips shipped to the US.  Currently I am leaning toward building my own device(s), but that will depend greatly on the specs released from Avalon.

Hi, the import taxes would be around $440 for the whole 10000 chips in one batch. Usually with DHL, you can get away easily if you don't own a business. On the other hand, it is harder to estimate the tax, because it is on a case by case basis. The customs officer tells the categorization of the chips, not the seller. However, for a bunch of chips, 200, it shouldn't go beyond 40 usd.

- No "possibility" or "probability"!!!! This is it! I just had a discussion with a friend representing a local company. We will have ready PCBs to drop the chips in. We can make 20 / 40 / 80 chip devices (let's decide later exactly which ones) and we can make 16 / 32 chip devices based on the Klondike project. Also the prices would be extremely competitive, i'll give you that! The chips cost only 0.083 BTC which is one advantage. Second, you won't have to send the chips back and forth. We will have the PCBs ready to be assembled.
-I'm thinking on making a website for all this (Chips / PCBs / fully functioning devices). What do you think? Do we need it or not?
