So after 2 PM unreplyed... I will try my luck here!
merci
hi, I saw that marto from bulgaria has another 16 chip design, the advantage is that you can overclock easy by rising the voltage. -will you collaborate with him to produce the same type of design, HEX16?
Thank you
Hello, I have made some arrangements to work with Martin, but not for the boards. As you know, everything made in the EU is more expensive than made in China. So, i will order heatsinks for now from him, but not the actual boards. As i know, you can overclock the chips using BKKCoins' firmweare. It may not be a live overclock, made straight from CGMiner, but it's still an overclock. Cheers

Hi acidu, I too have been following marto, am very impressed with his work.. I see no reason why you can't have steve send your chips to him for a hex16, just because you bought the chips here does not commit you to steve building your board. I haven't decided yet myself but have chips in different group buys so will probably send them to the same builder (depending on my confidence, if not I'll spread them about). Steve correct me if am wrong... That's correct. You're not bound to me by ordering the chips from me. But I promise i'll take a look into his work and try to negociate. Currently i don't like his price, but meybe later we will get to a deal.

Hello, Unfortunately i've seen the difficulty raise but haven't received any news yet. I need to receive a tracking number for the chips first. Or any other document stating that my chips are for example stuck in customs and i need to pay for customs, but nothing is moving yet. Only my small detailings are advancing slowly, my proto board will arrive next week, the firmware is ready, etc-etc. Keep you guys updated as soon as i get a more certaing info. Regards, Steve

Hmm.. Correct me if i'm wrong but i think raising the core voltage of the chip will have a negative effect in the longer term. The correct procedure would be to undervolt/overclock the chips until you reach a good ratio between speed/stability/operating temperature. Best regards, Steve

The correct procedure would be to undervolt/overclock the chips until you reach a good ratio between speed/stability/operating temperature. Best regards, Steve yes... as I have read trough forums you`v right... the real thing is that... even so... when or if we get the chips up and running we will not see a break even NEVER because till end of the year the diff will be like 200-300 mil... and to do a simple math: let-s take my case...: 116 chips without overclock = 32712 Mh/s... 32.7Gh/sec when the diff will be over 200 mill... and it will be soon... theoreticaly I`ll make...like 2.49BTC/month -the chips costed me over 9.396 BTC -and I have to invest another money into boards... like 7 of them.. so another BTC will be spent... I will be over 12-13 BTC maybe even more -I will not get out my investment... and talking about profit will be out of discution so--- in the end... If I ever get the chips... and decide well if is worth to mount them on a PCB or make some medallions for my girl out of them... be sure that I will overclock them to the point they will ``burst on fire``... because otherwise in a really really short period of time they... the chips... will be useless, gathering dust -I really do not know who is gonna make some profit from mining in this way?... like now.. ``we`` are like donators to some ``clever` guys who are dreaming at night... and in the morning... they put an announcement on the website like some MONARCH PCI-e type of card with 600GH/s that will be released .. nov-dec this year...oh no... late FEB 2014...oh no.. maybe like 2015... when with that piece of shit you will not make a single worth of BTC because again ... of the diff number witch will be skyhigh by then -and the storry repeat it self...`THEY` ...`clever` boys have them... or will have them like 6-8 months before us ... and after THEY filled up theyer pockets...and caused again a new skyhigh diff... will eventualy sale them to preorders who waited another half of another year -and then another asic chip will be out...with some who knows... 10 watt of power and 100TH/s... preorder...wait another 6months-1 year ...`THEY` , the clever boys.. make money again ... and we ``donate`` to theyer busineses to rise... and we will se that 100TH/s when it will worth like nothing so... will it worth mining for an average person? -the only ones that will make some good amount of BTC from mining will be those who will have tha hardware BEFORE us....and they will be those who will buy it from ``black market`` ,premium customers that no one will or has heard of sorry for the offtopic

Glad you could dump some pressure off, even if it's off-topic. I know waiting for something you've paid is killing you, but don't loose your nerve. To answer your question, you will be able to overclock your chips, don't worry.

Heh I see no point in attacking, most of the fights in arguments start from frustrations that build up over time. And we're not responsible for that, society is.... Great evening to all! Steve

As from here: http://alphahpc.com/terms-conditions/All shipped orders are non-refundable. You can only have an order refunded before a tracking number has been assigned to you. Once an item has been shipped, we can not issue you a refund on that item. it seems i'm able to get a refund. I would like to get a refund for my preorder (pcbs and assembly) on AlphaHPC. Please, give me infos on the procedure i have to take to get this refund. Sorry if i write in public, but i know you must have a lot of pms and you can't read all of them.

Hi, You order from AlphaHPC.cm has been refunded. Note that this refund was processed from my own money as the hardware (components, PCBs, everything) has been already ordered. This was my mistake in the terms and conditions and i take responsibility for it.. Have a great day.

Best regards, Steve Hi, As a mater of a fact you would be right if we speak about CPU/GPU. Here the main problem to be avoided is to reduce Apms(i.e. Current, lees ams per wire) giving the Avalon chip more power ( W) . So you do add more voltage in order to reduce current and to allow The Avalon to drain more power in high frequency . The heat just have to be removed Martin
