Anyone who has purchased and received more chips than they actually need, let me know I will take them off your hands for a profit.

2. Why at the checkout I should fill Billing Address, altrough there is only Bitcoin Payment available?

3. How much will cost shipping only 16-32 chips (ordered here) to Germany?

2013-06-20: Chips for batch 2 are secured! Order window closing in 10 days! (30.06.2013 23:59:59)

Does this mean batch 2 will close on this date regardless of the number of orders?
Will the order be placed on this date and the 10 week count down start?

Bkkcoins has some good news for us:

NEWS FLASH!!! NEWS FLASH!!!

My K16 is hashing with 1 chip.

It's not giving a correct result nonce yet but I'm almost 99% sure that's due to errors in precalc code or maybe I'm shifting in word order backwards.

I soldered an ASIC on the board this morning and spent all day twiddling this and that, mostly getting the clock config right. Then bamm I saw something that looked like nonce bits coming out but they were stunted little bits trying desperately to reach high. But the twinkle was enough and I went through the Avalon reference design again to check and realized I'd not used the correct pull-up value for the result lines. Somehow I f'd up and spec'd 100k resistors instead of 470R. So I quickly removed them and soldered in some 1K that I had here. And the bits sprung forth to their full heights. I was totally excited and hopping around my work bench. Even my wife was in to see what the big commotion was about.

So... next step, test the UART receiver, and muck with the send data until the right nonce comes back.

BTW I'm running at half clock b/c no heat sink attached yet. The chip gets slightly warmish to the finger. With only one chip and half clock you have to set the scope trigger and hold the probes for a while until a nonce is found. I counted about 4-8 seconds but of course it depends on what point it is in it's cycle. One chip at half clock (128MHz) would be about 33 seconds for a full sweep.

I placed an order for 32 chips, now I want to get more chips and pay for the required boards.
My question is, can I order more chips for the second batch. And can ı use the same payment address for the boards. Also sent a pm about this.

24 hours after Auction ended still no official results and no BTC address. Anyone knows how to pay and get official results from auctioneer? And better question. Do all bids count? I don't know how much I need to pay. It was 2 minutes longer then it should be since forum clock is off by 127 seconds.

I asked the same question, basically you use the escrow address to add more chips and then, when you are ready to order the board, send a PM to ask for a coupon to order the boards without the chips.

See : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=189582.msg2537689#msg2537689

Just make sure to mention that you are adding more chips to your address.

I was just worried since I spouse to pay 24 hours after the end. I understand this complicity. You can also figure out time difference at this moment easily. Synchronise your clock on a computer. You will get it accurate enough with that. And then post something at specific time.

Hours are different but you only need to look at minutes and seconds. If the clock didn't get fixed or go off even by more it should be around 127 seconds diference

Hi Lucko,  just to point something out, the time you typed above as your post time doesn't match the time the forum actually says you posted.  The issue might be on your end.  Or my clock is off by about the same amount of time as the server clock.

Hello again and sorry for being such a pain in the ass.
I would like to know about delivery:
• which kind of service are you planning to use for international shipping?
• why i didn't receive any email after i choose the "customer-side shipping" to set up my shipping?
• are you storing our shipping addresses in a secure way? some burglars stole avalons in these days, using EXIF or databases or whatever we don't know.. just to tell you Smiley
Hello,
1. I'm planning to use somthing secure and cheap. I have a person from my team researching that, trying to find any carrier that is cheap / fast / secure.
2. Probably because it is not set-up to receive an e-mail for that. I haven't had time to take care of the site, but that's being worked on right now.
3. I hope the web server is storing data securely. Aboe this, i don't use simple passwords for accessing the site.

Hello,
1. The 0.7 BTC represents, or should represent 50 Eur (because now it's below 50 from the latest BTC fluctuation) for DHL shipping and 0.2 BTC for handling. I won't be the person packing all the chips / miners / etc. I have a team mate that does that and i will supervise the process.
2. Shipping address or Billing address is there because i use a normal commerce platform (where billing is necessary). You don't have to fill out both and you can rest assured nothing is going to be "billed" at your name / address.
3. Shipping will cost under 50 Eur and 32 chips will fit in an envelope. If you need cheaper shipping, you can opt for the "Full control delivery" where you organise your shipping from me. All you have to do is call your preferred carrier and tell them you have a package waiting for you in Romania.

By the way, I wouldn't trust Romanian Post.. They are unsecure and they move with turbo-snail speed. But if you wish, i can ship via Ro Post, no problem.

Seems to me that the order will not have enough amount to be filled. So, i will have to turn to my backup plan, the chips reserved for us from someone else. They will be delivered somewhere between august and september, though.
