Media is a good way of influencing people especially the masses. The more they see it, the more they will be familiar with it, and the less they would be skeptical about bitcoin. I guess that the "brave" ones would try it first until people would open the topic in conversations. Some would be surprised why some of their peers already know bitcoin while they only see it for the first in television. I guess more people trying plus the fear of missing out would create a bandwagon. The problem is who's gonna shoulder the expenses in production? And what's in it for him to do that?

I've just thought about this for a moment but, if we want bitcoin to get more popularity, attention or acceptance would it be nice to make some advertisement about it on T.V.? I don't know if in other countries they advertise bitcoin but in my country, I haven't seen one. How do you think advertising bitcoin will affect the people? Any thoughts?
my country also never advertised bitcoin on tv. In my country, television stations are controlled by government and state, while bitcoin in my country has a bad image. it looks like bitcoin will not be advertised by tv in my country

If we ever want Bitcoin to become popular the only thing that would help us is the government. If government would allow us or simply recognize the trading and using of Bitcoin, it will have a great impact on Bitcoin's popularity. Though advertisement will do, but some people might see that as a scam or anything. We knew people nowadays are very skeptical.

Of course if that happens will be very influential on the community especially those who do not know the brand bitcoin must know how to get bitcoin.
If people are already using bitcoin then they would feel happy because bitcoin has been introduced through Tv media.
If this campaign will be started that will be really helpful for the community as well as for the coin itself because selective people use internet on this planet but TV is common all across the world and if bitcoin start advertising itself on every regions national TV channel this act will bring a lot of investor to the bitcoin and also price will go high and profit rate will also be high and bitcoin will be known globally.

Absolutely, since bitcoin is open source, no one in particular is going to make any profit  promoting bitcoin through TV ads solely as a currency. The legality of bitcoins is an issue, in most countries bitcoins has not been declared illegal, but still they have not accepted it as a legal currency.

There are various ways there to reach the people like by Newspaper, Internet, Social media but the most powerful medium to reach everyone would be by Television. It would be a better idea if it advertised through TV so that bitcoin gains its attention across the globe. If it is broadcast via TV bitcoin should be acknowledged by the government.

There ar different ways for this news to be spread to the people but I think advertising on TV can also make Bitcoin popular in a huge way and more and more people can know about it

Having infomercials about bitcoin on television is a great way to promote it.  But the question is who will be the one to pay for this?  There will be a hindrance since the one who does it may not directly benefit from doing it.  Not unless there is an organization such as online shops that will do it in order to promote their products as well as bitcoin.

Who is gonna pay the advertisement fee? Since Bitcoin is decentralized and doesn't belong to any organization i doubt anyone would do it except for hedge funs? (unlikely) or groups that only cares only about profits. It is also unlikely to see TV advertising on crypto investment information compared to other housing properties.

I personally think news coverage and social media had already done a pretty good job on promoting Bitcoin indirectly even though the highlights are 90% about the price and future prediction. It would be interesting to see giveaways or selling channels that includes Bitcoin as their program though.

I don't think this will work that way. No TV channel would advertise bitcoin as they may face legal actions.
I don’t agree with you because I think that TV is the best source of advertisement of bi coin by which most of the unaware of bit coin will become aware and they will automatically get involved in it by participation in signature campaign as well as investment and trading.

As for as taxes are concerned you are right but up to some extent that government will definitely implement taxes on it but I think the TV will increase the profitability more than the taxes.
I agree with you it is very profitable for bitcoin because a lot of people will start to know about bitcoin and search it on the net or ask some friends and they will al start with it this way our community will also grow a lot.
I agree with you the community will grow this way more people will know about bitcoin and not only the community but also bitcoin itself can grow through his but not only tv i would say it is smart to also advertise  through gaming.

Advertising bitcoin on TV is actually not a bad idea however there are also consequences when you advertise them on TV. It is either people will accept it or people would want to learn more about it. There are a lot to think about when advertising because of course there will be a lot of criticism if you go on national TV.

Please don't advertise it on tv. Wait that we can accumulate more and then you can do whatever commercial you like to do. I just love it that a lot of people don't know about it jet.

But who will pay a bitcoin advertisement? Those top bitcoin holders are possible but I am not really sure top television networks will also give slot on a bitcoin advertisement. Media is mostly owned by giant business groups. Bitcoin becoming a bit mainstream in internet and some popular people supporting are bitcoins main advertisers right now.

I don't think it is smart to advertise bitcoin on the t.v. because i think the one who will advertise it will lose a lot of money because not many people like to be behind their pc all the time to invest in a coin they just heard about.

I think this is interesting. However, I think no television network will honor this at the moment because governments have not taken a stand as to how the regulation of Bitcoins will be. In fact, they have not recognized its existence as of writing. Thus, I do not think these television networks have the power to accept such advertisements knowing for a fact that their governments have yet to accept it (Bitcoins) in the market.

This is my opinion.

While television networks own the air time they have paid the government for their franchising fees, their freedom is limited or not absolute. Like for instance, they cannot accept all forms of advertisements if these are contrary to law, good morals, customs and etc. Thus, said freedom is especially limited by governments for good governance and proper regulation. Without proper regulation, there is chaos. Hence, there are no advertisements of Bitcoins on TV.

I don't think it's a good idea to air bitcoin advertisement. It's no a simple product or service that must be endorsed. If we are talking about gow can bitcoin become popular, maybe the developer can consider bringing bitcoin in business or economic school. I'm sure by spending time on learning about our economies and currencies, bragging bitcoin to them will give an interest.

That sounds like a good plan; however, as it is now, I think there are several advertisements you can see all over the internet. It may not be as popular as it seems, but many countries, especially the economically inclined ones are giving attention to bitcoin as evidenced by their intent to regulate, make laws, and even tax the usage of bitcoins. Although, advertising in on TV would give it a big boost in terms of spreading awareness and knowledge about it. But, for that to be successful, we must purge most people's negative ideas and doubts about bitcoins.

I think it's needed for those countries where people don't know about bitcoin. Bitcoin is not so popular in present time, if we want popular it we should do it. There are some reason why some bitcoin users don't want to advertising bitcoin in tv. They think bitcoin price will go down, I think it's not true about bitcoin.
