What if, we advertise bitcoin on T.V.?

I've just thought about this for a moment but, if we want bitcoin to get more popularity, attention or acceptance would it be nice to make some advertisement about it on T.V.? I don't know if in other countries they advertise bitcoin but in my country, I haven't seen one. How do you think advertising bitcoin will affect the people? Any thoughts?

Well, that would be a nice move to let the people understand the core value of bitcoin and its contribution in the community. This is a chance to be popular in eyes of the people and big chance to be accepted by the government. Because some as they treat the bitcoin as a bad influence. Likewise, it gives opportunity to have a good future investment.

I have not seen bitcoin advertisements on TV yet, but there are many advertisements on exchanges on net advertisements and advertisements on youtube. As legislative arrangements are in place, it is likely that more advertisements on TV will increase!

We have seen some of the effects if bitcoin is somehow advertise on TV. One of the old example is in China, when the charity program seeks for donation, they even broadcast that they accepted donation in bitcoin, within a few days, the price of bitcoin shot up from $100 to $1000+. Recently, the ransomeware also hit a lot of countries and everyone start to be more aware of bitcoin.

The media is so powerful nowadays. The idea of showing bitcoin on TV gives it an edge and I think more people will be persuaded to try bitcoin because they saw it on TV. I just don’t know the consequences of this.

If this happens, the government will notice bitcoin. This would lead to the government controlling it and put a tax on bitcoin. Since bitcoin is considered as undergroung economy and it does not have to deal with taxes. The government will always find a way when it comes to money.

In advertising bitcoin in T.V. or bitcoin ads on T.V for popularization is good idea but the question is who paid the ads. But that point sooner or later will come to be popularized, bitcoin now is on the social media many ICO's project now promoting by bitcoin so maybe from now on many people catch the attention about bitcoin and they slowly adapt on it.

Of course you are right only one thing will happened when we advertise bitcoin on TV and that thing will be bitcoin will become more popular and people will love it more and more because some people can invest but they don’t know about bitcoin and when they see bitcoin and use of bitcoin with their own eyes than bitcoin will gain more value.

This is a good idea. Making advertisements about bitcoin on T.V will spread awareness to other people who still have not a clue about bitcoin. They might get really interested on investing in bitcoin if the advertisement that will be made will peek their interest and this will benefit us as bitcoin's price will gradually increase if we got a lot of new users who will invest in bitcoin.

We all know that the thing which will advertise on TV will become more popular and its value will increases in that society like that if we advertise bitcoin on television than bitcoin will become more popular and success and people will started investment in bitcoin which is a good idea for the success of bitcoin.

It is kind of impossible to see it because the value of Bitcoin is increasing without Advertissements also it will be good for us (Bitcoin investers) because the value will raise and our if we sell we will have really a big wealth. This isn't a bad idea though but the counter attack of this if it is advertised on TV is that the news will make many issues on this. It just happened a week ago when local news spread about bitcoin is a scam and there's a big question why it happened such information. They were asking how did the government allow it without any official acceptance in the society. The bottom line is, they are trying to remove bitcoin and the worst will be,many of us are affected. We bet our lives here mostly and how could we defend that?

Actually the absorption of fish on tv is considered less satisfactory, better advertised on YouTube or other social media that is cheaper.

It's actually a good idea to broadcast bitcoins on tv because it'll help the community get involved and attract a lot more tech-investors to place their money on bitcoins. However, TV ads aren't cheap, mind you. It ain't a walk in the park. But a lot of people nowadays are taking youtube by storm with their analysis on bitcoins and news. TV ads are just a bad invesment to start with because everybody's on their smart phones now. It'll only be logical to have someone upload a video on youtube THAT'S VIRTUALLY FREE ADVERTISEMENT.

according to my personal experience for every trading or business advertisement is must. because thorough advertisement you can send information about your product to the whole world. so for advertising there are various ways like advertisement through twiiter , facebook, youtube. Just like that T.V is also a perfect way of advertising.

This one's a good idea, but an expensive one. Hear me out. Many of the people nowadays are on their smartphones constantly checking their facebook, twitter, youtube etc. Most of these people have an internect connection in their homes. Consider advertosing bitcoins on social media sites instead of TV because everybody has a television in their hokes but not everyone has internet connection. It wouldn't make much impact on people who have television compared to people with both TV and internet connection who are constantly on their phone. It would be wise to have Bitcoins advertised on youtube because it's free; on facebook and twitter because everyone is on facebook and twitter.

There will be no any incentive for the one who will pay for those ads. However I think we may see some tv ads in near future from bitcoin related local services in few countries to promote their services.

yeah, exactly that's is a great point.  Television is a good kind of media to make atleast  many people to become a possible bitcoin users. But it takes time and also a lots of money to produce to make this happen.

I think advertising bitcoin on national television would have a great impact on the bitcoin community. People would probably become aware of it and would at least try to visit the website out of their curiosity. I think this will also create possible bashers of bitcoin especially thise who experience scam from it.   As far as I remember there are reports that the first Bitcoin commercial on TV air on ESPN three years ago which made its way to over 100 million households. The advertisement is backed by BitPay which I think paved its way to success. Dash was reportedly aired on the United Airline’s TV.
TV advertisement could give a significant effect on the people who may be encouraged to invest in Bitcoin. However, bitcoin companies would prefer online ad rather than TV to target specific people based on age, location, and other details. Additionally, BrightRoll survey reported that 72% of the ad agencies confirm that online video advertising is much efficient than TV advertisement. In the end, online or TV ads could help to build a more robust bitcoin era.

Every country should advertise it on local channels and it will surely help in boosting the promotion of bitcoins. This way bitcoin will more be known to a common and more people will be attractive towards the digital coins.

the big question is:
who will pay for the advertisement?
it will indeed be everybody's gain if bitcoin will be advertised on television.
but i dont think there is anyone visionary enough to fund for this endeavor.
but if ever this thing happens...
i am gonna be very thankful to that man...
