If I do not have to, why? Just imagine if we do, where the funds will be collected? If bitcoin communities are here, I do not think this will work, some people may not care about this plan, they just care to make a profit. and if it is a company I am sure they will tend to advertise their own company as the main problem is served instead of bitcoin itself. Cool

Already Bitcoin is moving into the minds of people but if we advertise this on TV, this might have a huge impact on the BTC. More people would know about it and many will even invest in it and it might even rise to an unexpected level say 30k U$D(who knows). But this might also have a negative effect on BTC as there are plenty of bad people who would try to convert black money into BTC and fearing this many countries might even ban it(India is initiating plans to do so) and it might have a fall in price but the net effect would always lead to profit.

Well, as mate said that BTC is moving in mind of more and more people with a quick speed so if we can add this new step that BTC can be advertise through T.V also then i think getting new customers rate will be increased more and that is the best for gaining best future of BTC.

create ads and get in on tv a good idea
depending on the place
whether to legalize bitcoin or not
maybe in some countries there are ads advertising bitcoin or other crypto
have also seen one of the ICO's on TV promoting its ICO
or it could be for those who have a store can be promoted in the tv shop or cafe is also receiving bitcoin payment as well

I don't think that advertising bitcoin will be of help to anyone who will be seeing it and we still don't know if they will be attracted to this advertisement. I think social media will be fine, also there are a lot of celebrities that are posting about digital currencies, I think that is enough advertisement for people people to be curious what is digital currency.

No body owns Bitcoin and there is no known office that is Bitcoin office so are you the one that will foot the bill for the airtime? And what will you gain by paying to advertise Bitcoin? unless you will be exchanging bitcoin to fiat money. Bitcoin is community base and driven it may not need all this hassles.

I've just thought about this for a moment but, if we want bitcoin to get more popularity, attention or acceptance would it be nice to make some advertisement about it on T.V.? I don't know if in other countries they advertise bitcoin but in my country, I haven't seen one. How do you think advertising bitcoin will affect the people? Any thoughts?
Bitcoin ads on TV will have a lot of controversy. Bitcoins may be advertised on TV in countries where Bitcoin is allowed, as it is legal for those countries, but many of the ads will then be. is spread and netizens can bring their country (banned Bitcoin) and will cause much controversy

Don't really think there is much need, there is a huge amount of free publicity in the press at the moment, at least there is in the U.K.

Just recently, I've got watched in the local news a feature about bitcoin and cryptocurrency. I'm glad because they don't supply any negative idea to the public and briefly discuss what is cryptocurrency. This is quite a good idea since there are still a number of people here in my country who haven't heard anything about bitcoin.

That's great. The popularity of bitcoin will continue to increase as well as many people who use bitcoin as their digital currency. No need to wait for bitcoin ads on tv. Already many ads about bitcoin on the internet and social media.

Advertisement is required promote a product which need to reach people for the product owner to benefit. But bitcoin is not as such, since bitcoin is a crypto currency or we call as digital currency which would replace paper currency. Do you think advertisement was done to promote paper currency when it was replacing gold/silver/bronze coins exists a century before? Definitely no, so bitcoin also doesn't need any advertisement and it would reach everyone by the way it benefits.

If bitcoin would be advertised on TV more and more people that have no idea what are they doing hoping they will get rich in an instant would join the crypto world disturbing the natural order of things.

Any product or brand to be popular most of companies invest huge amount on advertising and TV is a medium through which very household aware the any new thing enters the market,Its a quiet good idea appreciated but now a days social media is most powerful and most immediate viral the news or updates,so its pretty good to advertise bitcoin n by both TV and social media.

You have to remember that bitcoin is a decentralized currency that is not owned by any company or individual person.  So who will take charge of making this tv commercials and who will pay for the air time of this commercial.  I imagine something like this wont be cheap to do and then there is also the factor that each country has different things they can air on networks, so as you can see it is a complicated issue.

I do not think that bitcoin is yet to be advertised, as most countries in the world still prohibit using bitcoin for buying and selling or other payment activities. including in our country that bitcoin is still not officially allowed to circulate in the wider community. and ignorance about bitcoin as well as other problems, and also according to the news circulating that bitcoin is very span for other crimes that are very harmful for the state.

I have seen Bitcoins being held in the news for example "Bitcoin becoming a good investment for millennial." That itself would be advertisement already. However that is the only way to advertise bitcoins; news. In my opinion, you can never advertise bitcoin by itself regardless of being in the news. From what I see nowadays, the only way you can advertise bitcoins is through the forums and social media sites. If we were able to utilize television though, bitcoin could become a huge hit thus increasing its value.

Actually this is a great idea, because it can make people not yet know can be more interested in bitcoin. But need to be underlined, do not make bad bitcoin in advertisement on tv you make, because of course will affect bitcoin price.

There will be a great impact whenever bitcoins will be advertised on TV. Many people will be introduced and be educated about it and so will be more interested to deal with it...Long live Bitcoins!
