What if, we advertise bitcoin on T.V.?

I've just thought about this for a moment but, if we want bitcoin to get more popularity, attention or acceptance would it be nice to make some advertisement about it on T.V.? I don't know if in other countries they advertise bitcoin but in my country, I haven't seen one. How do you think advertising bitcoin will affect the people? Any thoughts?

I do not think that advertising bitcoin on TV is going to bring a lot of users in my opinion bitcoin has as many users as it can, we did not needed to have a campaign on TV promoting bitcoin, in fact I will dare to guess that most people in the forum learned about bitcoin on their own and that no one taught them anything about bitcoin, so I think that advertising bitcoin in TV is useless.

Doing BTC advert on tv will do way more in terms of increasing BTC  awareness and growing its popularity. That way we'll get more and more investors, and in my opinion, an increase in demand of BTC leads to an increase in its price, and conversely, you get to sell your BTC for a higher value and make more profit. Makes sense right?

In my country there is also no advertisement on tv showing bitcoin. If there were probably a lot of people in my country who would be interested in investing in bitcoin. Yesterday had a lot of news circulating about ransomeware virus that attacked the world, which brought bitcoin as a means of payment from the virus was preached on television, I think it makes the name of bitcoin increasingly popular in the world

Its a good idea to advertise bitcoin in t.v but it will have too much pay to advertise some cryptocurrency in t.v. Advertising bitcoin in t.v will be good because the more popularity of bitcoin they get the more demands and it will increase the price of bitcoin.

I think advertising bitcoin regarding television is indispensable. Bitcoin can be known and can be use my many. Many people will make their maintenance and times productive. Bitcoin can be useful by all the people productivity.

It would be really really great to see bitcoin in the televesion but if you check the news, newspapers and radio, they do mention bitcoin but not advertising it but discouraging people to invest in it because it's a "bubble" or a "scam".

TV can be good media to reach wide range of possible bitcoin users but running tv ads will cost so much and nobody want to pay those money from their pocket.

There will be no any incentive for the one who will pay for those ads. However I think we may see some tv ads in near future from bitcoin related local services in few countries to promote their services.

That is true, running an advertisement cost too much it is not that easy and just like what you've said I don't think there is no one who will paid for it especially if it will come to their own pocket. Although it is a good idea, because television has a wide range of viewer and its a good market. Let just hope that there will be a positive and good news about it. That will be better and surely will catch more and will increase our population.

I think advertising bitcoin in tv will definitely affect people. We all know that social media such as advertising especially in tv can influence many people because there are so many people watching all around the world so it will definitely affect people and they will get curious which will lead them to take the risk.

It's not a bad idea to advertise bitcoin in Television because it will get more popularity and influence people. We all know that television  are one of the most influencing thing it's like social media but television is more affordable to the people. Using it to promote bitcoin can get the attention and curiosity of the televiewer so that they will try bitcoin. And whole world use television as a advertiser called commercial they use it advertise their product to be more popular that it will sell.

The problem with advertising Bitcoin on TV,is that there is still some people who don't know what Bitcoin is yet.
Advertising something unknown won't work.
Instead I think that the best way to get more popularity/attention is to present Bitcoin/Cryptocurrency at Schools,universities and teach them the concept.
Like that,more and more of people will start getting interest in bitcoin.

The problem with advertising Bitcoin on TV,is that there is still some people who don't know what Bitcoin is yet.

I'm sorry but you're wrong. It's like a product.  They advertise their product so that people will be aware and have idea about their product. The same with bitcoin. If ever it will be advertise in t.v, then people will be aware and have an idea about it. It's not necessary that people should know bitcoin before they advertise it. The main purpose of advertising bitcoin is to spread information about it and how it works.

Anyway, I don't like the idea of presenting bitcoin to schools.  For me, bitcoin should be learned for those who are interested and it should not be forcely teach to those who are not interested.
