Bitcoin doesn't need TV advertising, I don't think it's any use for bitcoin, the cost is too big, no one is willing to spend so much money to promote bitcoin.

I've just thought about this for a moment but, if we want bitcoin to get more popularity, attention or acceptance would it be nice to make some advertisement about it on T.V.? I don't know if in other countries they advertise bitcoin but in my country, I haven't seen one. How do you think advertising bitcoin will affect the people? Any thoughts?
Here in my country I think they don't want to advertise bitcoin because TV news already warn people here to avoid it and they give pointers why... It's not yet popular to all the people here but they already gave their negative side of it.

you got some point and i frankly agree that bitcoin doesnt really need it as it is only a digital currency and not a service or a product that has a real usage in an offline environment or in a real world and almost all the products that has been advertise on t.v's is mostly real stuffs like for example food (i.e bread , junk foods , cerials , coffe , juice , etc. ) but if ever had someone to this to bitcoin then i guess it will have a great effect on bitcoin because bitcoin will now be more popular and more people will be aware of it on what is a bitcoin and what is it use for.

Of course if that happens will be very influential on the community especially those who do not know the brand bitcoin must know how to get bitcoin. If people are already using bitcoin then they would feel happy because bitcoin has been introduced through Tv media.

Similarly to how programmatic is changing the way TV advertising is bought and sold, blockchain may revolutionize programmatic by opening it up to more publishers and advertisers and by further streamlining monetary transactions.

I don't think that it is still necessary that bitcoin would still put adverstisement on television. Social medias and online adverstisement I think is more than enough and it is less expensive.

I think there is no need to advertise bitcoin on tv because the more advertisement the more money to be paid off. Social media is enough to advertise bitcoin. They can easily search and ask to those who knows more about it.

it is a good idea for bitcoin to advertise on t.v because when many people know what is bitcoin there has a big possibilities that the price of it be higher each day many of the people will use it and the demand will get high.

That is not possible in my country. Bitcoin is banned by the government but it can be advertised on social networks, on tobe ads, but there are many other countries that banned Bitcoin and can not. Ads are on TV As far as I know, except Japan, I do not know any country accept to promote Bitcoin through T.V, most of the government still do not have clearly decision and policies for cryptocurrency, included Bitcoin. So, that is the problem to advertise a currency is still illegal.

I think it would be difficult, because here in my Country the government try to manipulate the bitcoin system. The news says that " the government of my Country would be the 1st to manipulate and control the cryptocurrency system" That's is why it would be difficult to advertise in the Tv, they noticed the faster growing of BTC. For sure if it happens other countries will do same if ever.

One of the best ways to advertise is communication. I think if bitcoin is advertised on tv then it is great. Bitcoins will be known and demand for bitcoin will increase. Bitcoin will grow stronger.
International Media is a very strong medium of promoting new technologies and we should keep in mind that kids and older people really spend a good amount of time in front of TV. Advertising bitcoin on TV will help a lot in teaching children about bitcoin because they will have to deal in bitcoin in their teens the way it is increasing in popularity. We should know that TV is still as powerful as it was few years ago.

I guess the main problem is that bitcoin is open-source, community driven... Altough there are some bigger players on the market. I think this would make it incredibly difficult to get a concensus on which add would be shown, as well as finding sponsors to foot the bill. TV ads aren't cheap But yes, IF there would ever be a concensus about showing a TV ad, and we would find somebody footing the bill, i think it would give BTC and incredible boost. In my country, most people still think bitcoin is only used by criminals, they always give me a strange look when i tell them i have some btc to. I agree. Also, I don't think many T.V. networks would go for it, since there is always a stigma about bitcoin being a negative kind of investment. Although TV marketing has been a very good type of marketing ever since its onset, marketers would have doubts because if they do try to market it via TV, some people might think of them as openly convincing people to somehow get scammed due to the bad light associated with bitcoin and the cryptocurrency market nowadays.

Of course, since bitcoin is open source, no one will specifically generate profits that promote bitcoin through TV commercials solely as currency. Bitcoin legality is an issue, in most countries, bitcoins have not been declared illegal, but they still do not accept it as a legal currency

What is the purpose of promoting Bitcoin? At this point, Bitcoin is already mainstream and popular. Even KFC had a Bitcoin bucket on its menu list. I would say at least 50% of people already heard of Bitcoin. The news already reporting Bitcoin almost every day, especially in a huge crash like this. What Bitcoin need is not popularity, but rather key people to persuade lawmaker to legalize Bitcoin.

Advertising on tv is the best way of reaching all the world communities in easiest way. Advertise bitcoin on tv is the way to make bitcoin sold out in a fast way. Then I think people will divide in two opinion the Anti and Pro bitcoin.

I think it would be very good news if bitcoin could be advertised on TV, and it would speed up the development of bitcoin.
Actually last week there was a lot of news on television in my country about bitcoin. There was a news on how people get involved in bitcoin, on how they scam, earn and have a huge profit from bitcoin and also on how bitcoin's value is getting high and low in a matter of minutes or even seconds. Thats why many people are aware about bitcoin. Also until now the government still not legalized the bitcoin in my country.

It would be as effective as the internet with YouTube and social media like Twitter and Facebook. Plus I don't believe something such as that is effective, the discussion has to be real and organic so that it will draw people in to do research on why Bitcoin and blockchain technology is so important.

There's no need to advertise Bitcoin in any form of media. There's too much hype created by new ICOs that will lead them to understand Bitcoin first and same thing with the publicity created by known exchangers and developers giving their thoughts on the future of Bitcoin. Bitcoin reached an ATH of $19,000 USD without the use of advertisement.

This is a good idea, but I think online advertising may be better than TV advertising, because online advertising is more young people to see.
